  1. That's actually what I was hoping for.
  2. Xypherous did a massive Q&A about the next champion on the forums a few hours ago. He's a pirate/sailor of some sort that uses a massive anchor as a weapon. Q - Hookshot, pulls Anchorman towards terrain, or if hits champion (any enemy?) pulls Anchorman and that enemy together, but presumably moves Anchorman than enemy less because he's big and heavy W - Shield that scales with hp E - Slow version of Tidehunter's ult, keeping enemies close to you unless they choose to run and get cc'd by the spikes. R - Homing tidal burst that travels up to a maximum amount of time towards a target/until it hits the target. blows up things it hits along the way, blows up and slows on impact of actual target. He's a tanky character with fairly good AP ratios, that apparently can jungle quite well. He's supposed to be simple to play, while the next one is more complex. Seems neat. I was hoping we'd get another Bilgewater champion. Edit: Also, the new support champion is 'definately coming before June', so there's that.
  3. Main reason I thought of it was to counter Promote Heimer, actually. He Promotes, you do it right back to him. He drops two turrets, you Smite one and om nom on the other.
  4. Because the community is screaming about how OP he is, and Riot has a good habit of giving in to those yells about new champs and nerfing them?
  5. Ziggs is pretty much the greatest champion ever and I plan on playing the hell out of him until the inevitable nerfs. MEGA. INFERNO. BOMB. EDIT: Oh man, this game we have Ziggs, Corki, and Heimer all on the same team. Wish we had Rumble too. Team Science Yordle go!
  6. Oh geez. The champion spotlight for Ziggs is up. He looks like he'll be SO MUCH FUN. I'm suddenly quite excited for this patch!
  7. Breaking this current stale and boring metagame is a bad thing? I thought we WANTED this metagame to get broken?
  8. They clearly said though that since none of his skills are targetted and he has no hard CC, he does way better damage then someone with actually CC and nukes would. For the next champion...no idea, the usual leaks haven't been coming out since Viktor, so I'm completely in the dark for once.
  9. Who, Ziggs? He's a skillshot based AP caster with no hard CC. Should be interesting to see how he plays out. Riot usually does a good job making their casters fun, so we'll see.
  10. Now, I've only played two games of Dota 2 and didn't have to deal with Invoker, so correct me if I'm wrong here, but from my understanding he can bust those spells out at any time, right? What's the cooldown like on his Invoke? The difference is that Lee Sin and Nidalee's spells are more predictable. For Nidalee, you can tell what she's going to use depending on what form she's in, and for Lee Sin, his skills are bound in pairs; if he uses one, he'll use the other. As far as I can tell with Invoker, unless you can memorize all ten of his QWE combinations and watch his casts of them, you can't really know what he's going to do? Again, correct me if I'm wrong, I don't have any actual experience against him.
  11. Shurelia left Riot a while back, that's why the stealth remake hasn't happened. She was completely in charge of it, and no one else at Riot gives enough of a fuck to care about it. If they're not JUNGLING CHAMPIONS WITH TRIFORCE THAT DEAL TONS OF DAMAGE, no one at Riot cares. Shurelia's the only one that cared about support champions too, that's why we haven't gotten any new ones since Karma. It's way easier for them to just ignore Twitch and Eve, instead of having to fix their problems. I like Riot, but geez, they're completely stupid most the time.
  12. Second favorite skin for her. Still prefer Secret Agent. Wish they had changed her gunshot sounds like they did for Twitch's mafia skin.
  13. So, the big thing on the LoL forums the past couple days has been "Last hitting is an archaic mechanic". People are wanting Riot to remove last hitting from the game and rework the way you get gold/exp from minions. http://na.leagueoflegends.com/board/showthread.php?t=1723873 This is the thread that started it, and now it's the main topic the discussion forum is filled with. It's a bit long of a read, but what do you guys think? I think he's got some neat ideas. I actually really like the idea of 'risk zones' that give you more minion gold the closer you are to the enemy base, that would encourage early tower pushing more.
  14. Miss Fortune, Malzahar, and Karma.
  15. Didn't know that. I've never played the original Dota. Still, it's weird that they're getting away with using an almost exact replica of the original Lina Inverse. Just doesn't feel right.
  16. Nothing. 360 gets nothing, which seems like a big mistake on Microsoft's part. Maybe they'll push for someone to be in Tekken x Capcom when that comes out?
  17. It's fucking stupid. If you look at the official profile of him on the SFxT site? It says 'he's a Digger who flies around with him partner Roll in search of ancient artifacts', or something along those lines. It's like Capcom is deliberately trying to troll the fuck out of Legends fans at this point. Exactly. They're pissed that he insulted the hell out of them then left the company, so they're trying to wreck his legacy and kill off the fanbase of Mega Man.
  18. Is Valve just randomly giving out Dota 2 invites now? I just got an email saying I'm in, and it's sitting in my game library. If so, why don't they just make the beta open? EDIT: I installed it. May as well give it a fair chance. Looking at the champion list though, I'm not really feeling any of these guys, though I am kind of confused as to why Lina Inverse is in the game. o_O
  19. My favorite Gundam was G Gundam. Cool mech fights, indeed.
  20. The only character I bother getting Bloodrazor on is Kog'maw, as a late game item, because it works so well with his W. I can't really find a reason to justify it outside of that. That 4% health really isn't that much, when you throw in the fact that the champions it should be best are are usually going to have a relatively high magic resist. Even if they don't have that much magic resist when you grab it, most people are going to be smart enough to get a Banshee's at some point anyway. The main problem, I think, is that it's too expensive for what it does. I wouldn't mind at all if Kitae's Bloodrazor made it over from Dominion, as either a replacement or an alternative.
