  1. I don't know what was with that last post but, this song does deserve such obsession. I love this song, and the great thing is, that it Plays off Ailsean's Terra in Black mix so well. Final Fantasy is a great series that deserves such excellent work, thank you AmIEvil.
  2. Epic, Just Epic. Every aspect of the song screams it. It's like the Lord of the Rings, you may not like it, but you have to admit its greatness. I love the way the vocals weave through the song, and the Melody is excellent.
  3. This is a good remix, but not quite up to par with Ailsean's Terra in Black. I love the strings. but the rest of the song doesn't offer anything truly great. but I still like it.
  4. This is the Single Greatest Remix of all Time! I cannot say enough about it! Every aspect is perfect. Far Promise is the perfect melody, the guitars are flawless as always. the bass is strong but not overwhelming. I LOVE IT!!!
  5. This is his fourth best song from the CT series. The Furthest Promise, Nikki Learns a Song, Radical Punks, and then Knights. I love Glenn's Theme, but Far Promise is the one of the greatest songs to come out of CT.
  6. Astounding, while not up to the level of Nikki learns a song or Terra in Black, this song is excellent in it's own right. the high tempo adds energy to a song that was previously a ballad. this requires great vision. excellent.
  7. I must applaud Ailsean for his masterful electric guitar, He puts it in nearly every song, but every time he makes it different, and never stale. I love the Final Fantasy series, and I'm glad that he can do justice to the beloved theme.
  8. Strange remix, but I like it. it's... unique, to say the least. I wonder just what kind of files mazedude used to get those bizzare sounds...
  9. The Whips in castlevainia mixes are starting to get a bit stale. But then, it wouldn't be a catlevainia mix without 'em.
  10. I love the guitar in this track. It sounds almost slightly flamenco. The bass is understated and supplements the track well. I also think that the juxtaposition of the Organ and the Guitar are perfect for the track. My only complaint is the abrupt ending. However, I heard that there is a version with a proper ending which would be great.
  11. I don't care why you people keep thinking that "Bangin' Bass" is needed in every good song. There are too many remixes out there where some uncreative Moron just slaps a baseline on an eight bit track, and then thinks it's the greatest thing since sliced bread. Instead of shying away from the eight bit nature of the track, AmIEvil embraces it. this track could have been created in the later eight bit era. I applaud his creativity.
  12. This is great, it's leisure suite simon in the land of the lounge lizards. It's Castlevainia in Cheap Polyester instead of Hardcore Leathers. I love it. It's so cheesy that it trancends all cheesiness. the instumentals fit perfectly.
  13. AP pulls together a wall of sound quite literally unheard of in the world of eight bit games. I think it would be increadible if you overwrote the original soundrack of an Eight bit emulator with the works of AP and other remixers.
  14. I am SICK of people whining about techno, if you have a problem with the genre, then don't mislead others by writing a review in blind ignorance of a song that you have judged by something that it sounds like. You must let the song stand upon it's own merits. in this songs case it is an excellent representitive of the techno remix, it's not another song with no changes but a enhanced baseline, the song has been changed in most aspects, except for the melody. It exemplifies what OCRemix is about. once again, I must beg DJPretzel to overlook it's size, and let FFMusicDJ's remix of Falling Star stand on its merits.
  15. I think it is an excellent piece. the voice clip has been used in other songs, but it fits well. I agree that the prelude melody should have a bit more change in pitch, but I'm not remixing it so I should just shut up. By the way, I know it's too big, but DjPretzel should let Haroon Post his Falling Star Remix, it is God-Like. Please...
  16. It's not quite as Trancey as his usual works, but it is still an excellent piece, I think it's a bit to short, but I like the Subdued horns in the background at the end. I still think that he should post his remix of Falling Star. Please...
  17. I love it... I hear the Jethro Tull influence. It could definitly be from the OST of Trigun. It would also fit just right in Xenogears, given the close relationship between the two games. 10/10
  18. I think that there are too many remixes of the zeal theme. this doesn't detract aything from mazedude's work. 8/10. Personaly, I think the best Zeal remix is Alexander Prievert's trance mix.
  19. This is a great remix of Far Promise by Zeratul. the use of the Matrix clip takes you 180 degrees. I love it. the Intro kind of reminds me of the Cynic Project. Another great Music group that I suggest any fan of this song looks into.
  20. God I Love Chrono remixes. be they Cross or Trigger, They're all great. And this original mix of the Sealed Door is great. most other mixes I've heard of this song, such as Trptcox's, try to emphisise the ambient nature of the song, Zeratul takes it in a new exciting direction as he has so often done.
  21. Not true. While it's not a scintillating Quad-Layered Classical piano vs. dueling rock guitars Magnum Opus, but it is still a great song. anyone who's played and loved Chrono Trigger will instantly recognize and respect what Zeratul has done with Magus' theme. Sometimes less is more, and if you still hate it, Play it outside to scare trick-or-treaters on Holloween.
  22. I love this song, definitly one of the best on there, I love it!!!!!! Ailsean always puts up top notch remixes but this is Godlike!
  23. I know a lot of you hate the intro. I find it original, a little drawn out, but original. It would be great if it was about 3 seconds shorter, but the actual trance is pure gold. thank you FF music DJ.
  24. It's a decent remix, from what I hear, this is one of Rimco's first. Not bad for a first try. But I would have prefered a more flowing transition between the songs.
  25. I don't understand what Kaijin dislikes so much about this mix. He doesn't like the baseline, but that can be fixed by proper calibration of your sound system. the piano is solid, and it's a refreshing tempo change from the original.
