it's back up! i got a 32-bit and 64-bit key.

sp, i've heard back from several people so far, and i'd like to get even more people involved. so, tell your friends! i'm planning on it. edit: key cavern is currently taken by Sound Test.

still trying to get a key and the 32-bit version. i dl'd the 64-bit version last night, but haven't installed it yet.

dx11 is some crap that nvidia's pushing so that when it has it and everyone's got those dx10.1 cards that they bought when ati was the rage, they'll get pissed. at current it's not even a finalized standard yet, it's still be worked out. it won't be available for w7's release. wikipedia!

i'm curious if they're going to allow you to dl both the 32-bit and 64-bit, or if your key will work for both, or what. because i'd want to try out both, even if i wind up going with 64 (gotta use that last 512 megs of ram, you know?). what xp was to you?

the girl who cosplayed as the chick from mirror's edge looked almost exactly like her pixel sister. it was pretty awesome. there were some really bad costumes, though, way too little clothing for what some of these people (male and female) had.

i'm surprised no one's pointed this out, but the public beta starts tomorrow (the 9th). it's a free download, open to all - the first 2.5 million downloads get a key to allow them to use it past the 30-day deadline for registration that the beta has. this is a different build than the 7000 beta available on bittorrent, and you should all get it. this is really looking good - it beat vista and xp on 21 of 23 real-world tests...by a LOT. it boots in 30 seconds =)

i remember when he asked me if he could get on the rd project...way back when... shit, that opening was really cool. really polished as a whole =) love the entrance of the guitar part. really effective use of the breakdown as you drop out the main lead and bring in that silence 'fill'. awesome work!
