updated the first post with all the art that i think i'll need, and how i'd like it.
anso, if you have any particular ideas that are 'better' than mine, let me know =)
hdd is probably dead. take the hard drive out, stick it in an external 2.5" case, and try to get your files onto another computer.
it's not a very good laptop, for what it's worth, so it's probably better to just replace it.
edit: 2.5" with a 3.5" external box...doesn't work =)
mostly men because my wife's not a fan of me putting up pictures of females in game. and because it costs a LOT to get commissions for each individual game. an image like that would be like 150$ from most artists. even if it were a quarter of that, it's still a lot for one individual picture, particularly for a game that's not as important to me as others on the list.
you're also forgetting that i'm more of an american gamer than you are - so i'm less into anime-style stuff and more into simpler art. boxes usually provide that.
where's that picture from? regardless of most people's taste, it's beautiful. i might see if i can get in contact with the artist for my ff6 shot =)
edit: i should point out that most people that i know don't know games well, so that's why i want the logos. people should be able to tell exactly what it is when they look - similar to movie posters, which will be going up as well.
i'd recommend the zoom h2. you can get an academic discount on it that's pretty solid, and it's all based off of sd cards. it records lossless or lossy, too, so you can pick.
just a suggestion.
edit: updated the OP and fixed the name. you don't manage the thread, mods, so please don't 'correct my spelling' or whatever that was. minimodding = bad.
try unlocker. then try deleting in safe mode with and without unlocker. if those don't work, you can theoretically delete files through the command prompt, or else tell windows to delete it after it shuts down next time (that's a queue). it's annoying to do and sometimes crashes your system, though, so try the others. unlocker should work, really.
if you're just looking for sets of licks, ueberschall's liquid instrument packs 'Horn Section', 'Saxophone', and 'Trumpet' are all excellent. and, since it's liquid instruments, you can adjust timing, groove, and notes really easily.
"a whole lot more modulation going on"? do you even know what that means? because if you did, you'd know why that statement sounds utterly retarded. i can understand an extra key change or two, but "a whole lot"? what, does it do the circle of fourths or something?
edit: who the fuck are you, anyways? just some random nub who's complaining about the largest remix project ever? go screw yourself, loser.
edit2: oh, you ARE a nub. you're only 19
hey, i just saw this.
zircon, it isn't the behavior of all usb drives - just the ones that offer power-saving tech (check out the caviar green drives for an example). this IS a majority of them, but a slight one at best.
there's a really easy way to make it stop doing that - just break open the case and install the drive in your desktop (if you're not using a laptop, that is). the procedure that powers it down is in the firmware of the casing, so the drive itself is 'salvageable'. or you could buy another external case for it and put the hd in that.
benge are good trumpets for a student or someone not playing professionally. a friend of mine picked it up as a secondary (he's a band director now), and loved it.
would you sell the stand seperately? for how much?
