  1. it was a joke, but i think that no one got it. i typed it correctly.
  2. five dollars doesn't get you lights, son.
  3. seeing as my copy of orange box is currently MIA, i just registered a steam account and bought tf2. theprophetofmephisto is my ign. edit - how does steam deal with no-disc cracks for games? i generally download the nodisc as soon as i get a game, because i hate having to deal with swapping discs constantly. i know steam can 'import' non-steam games, but will it just break the crack? or will it continue to allow me to use said games? note that i own all of these games.
  4. got mine today. i appreciated the note addressed to 'mr. mephisto' =) jill, this is truly amazing. really, this is fantastic. i actually keyed in by hand the names of everything on my 360...which took forever, and shows just how passionate i am about this album. if you haven't gotten it yet, get it! i did have one question. being the remixer i am, i'd love to take my hand at arranging one or two of the songs on this album. will at any point your project files/midis or the vocal waves be available for such a purpose?
  5. i've gotta brush up =) i keep hitting the keys for crysis rather than the correct ones.
  6. what i'm trying to say is that the dual-core beta is a beta, dumbass. it's not the same client as the single-core full-release model. since i only run the client when i'm not touching my machine, i want to make sure it doesn't eat my hard drive or something while i'm not there monitoring system performance. and i'd like to run F@H on both cores when i'm not there. even if you run it, that's only a single-core machine (or at least a really shitty one, according to your post). things work differently with two cores running simultaneously (which is how it works).
  7. i require information as soon as it's available to the public. also, i'd love to know what company you're working for, since i seem to have missed what it is. edit: first poast lol
  8. i like goldrush, although like all the maps i have little experience on it. i just pulled out tf2 in anticipation of playing with you guys, and realized just how much i've dropped in ability in the last while.
  9. i was more looking for a reaction from someone who's used the client, actually.
  10. so, i run a very powerful dual-core box, windows x86. is the SMP client gonna fry my box, or is it stable enough to use in a normal windows environment (only running when i'm not using the computer)?
  11. i think it was shael, if only for the name of his new band (grammar club)
  12. who used to be mr. grammar nazi? was it shael?
  13. i have to admit that i haven't played a lot of the classics outside of the RPG genre =( i need to get working on that!
  14. how many roads must a man travel down?
  15. onenote is possibly the best note software available. i used to use a pen-based writing tablet and transfer later, but that wasn't that good (and they didn't do drivers after windows 98 or 200 or ME, anyways).
  16. you know, if stevo (level 99) wasn't so damned busy at the moment, he'd cream himself to be able to do something this big for ocr.
  17. lulz that was the best post i've seen you do in ages. too bad you're fucking banned now, fgt.
  18. i just buy a lot of games when they come out. assassin's creed (with the tin and everything), after buying, playing, and selling it back, cost me a total of eight dollars. bioshock: seven. gtaiv: i actually earned three dollars because of rebates and credit from aforementioned used games. h3 cost me eleven dollars for the pack with the nice tin.
  19. haha b& so, pez, what's the verdict? do you think you're going to dual, or are you gonna try the vm deal? i talked with a friend of mine who's hardcore into VMs for just about everything - he says that there's a strong chance you'll have problems with the audio stack, because of osx's general monopolization of audio within the OS (according to him).
  20. i use cag constantly to find good prices on games. with the volume that i buy new stuff, it really helps.
  21. it's annoying but more realistic IMO.
