[/shrug] my info might be dated, but the ps3 does not make a good computer, although it DOES make one. that's the whole point i was trying to make.

according to a relatively old slashdot article (like, a few months), you have to use a third-party app to allow you to dual boot into both the ps3 menu and linux. i don't have a link, unfortunately, it's been ages since i read it.

just ordered it. looking forward to listening. and the tv is still great, mustin. works great with logitech z5500 speakers.

hi, pm me please. we'll talk. edit: you can use your ps3 as a computer, but you'll still need to buy a new, larger hd probably, as well as hacking your ps3's OS...which can be tricky. and you can only run certain versions of linux, having done all that.

lol, if you had it registered originally, they were running a deal for their 9th birthday where ANYONE could to a stepup. 7950gt's were getting like almost as much as my 9600gt, because it's how much you paid when you bought it all those years ago.

i wish that other games had 'superstar' gametypes - i know you can lock on a player, but to have a player that has to live the life and do all that other stuff - that'd be cool for any sport - basketball, baseball, football...

03, 05, and 08 were all good, and they were different enough to make it worth getting, IMO. hey versus22, NO SHIT. of course they do - it's not like you can play football as an RPG or something.the innovations introduced each year usually don't make it worth getting, but stuff like superstar mode, highlight stick, precision passing, and the advances in graphics make it worth getting every few years.

dragonforce is epic, but i have to be in the right mood to listen to them. otherwise it's just processed (PROCESSED) noise.

i enjoy the madden games, but i generally get them from people who don't want them anymore. so i likely won't actually own a copy of 09 until about 2012 or so.
