  1. I had a late start, and I've been a tad busy lately, but I *should* be able to come up with at least 1 minute of WIP material by the 31st. If not, I'll contact you DarkeSword.
  2. Good Job Carbo I heard this over at www.vgmix.com and it was good then, just as it is now. Rock on dude!
  3. I've had that problem with Cakewalk SONAR 2 before, and I hate to tell you, but: You're screwed. You're going to have to start over. That type of error isn't fixable, the only hope you might have is if you made a backup (something I've grown accustomed to doing since this happened to me).
  4. Just a small note for now: While people haven't commented on it here yet, in other places I've gotten comments on the "violin sample" referring to the higher/declining section played during the acoustic guitar break in the beginning. This isn't a violin, nor a violion sample, or even any kind of sample. It's a guitar with delay and gain that I used a volume pedal on to give it that swelling sound. Thanks for the comments It's good to see people enjoying it.
  5. It looks like chthonic had to drop out of the project, so I will be taking over the track for Son of Wind. I'll let everyone know which track/s I'll be remixing as soon as I know --------------- Ok, I'm gonna go with 51/52, it was hard to choose out of all the awesome music in the game, but I think 51/52 caught my attention the most.
  6. It does sound like it was recorded on a lower-end guitar as far as quality goes, but it's still VERY good. One of the better remixes of TFAT. 8.5/10
  7. I like it. I think it was longer than it should've been, and it seemed to take forever to finish, but it was still very good.
  8. I kind of agree with what you said earlier, it would be kinda unfair and meanish to kick someone off a slot you've already given them. But on the other hand, there is nothing wrong with getting the best of the best instead of (lack of a better word) settling for something not so good. I guess what I'd suggest is keeping whoever you have right now, unless someone auditions that is clearly better for the job.
  9. I think DarkeSword has already done a pretty good job choosing which remixers to have on the project. He's heard auditions from each remixer and made sure they're quite capable of producing high-quality above par remixes.
  10. Very impressive, however, all of my slots for tracks are filled up. You have three options: 1) Be a backup. If someone drops out, you could take over. 2) Convince someone here to collaborate with you. 3) Wait until my next project. Sorry man; your stuff sounds killer, but it wouldn't be fair to bump someone. Anyone willing to collaborate with Darangen? I'll take either of the 3.
  11. Is it too late to audition? I looked for signs and traces of 'auditions closed' or relative statements, but didn't find any, so I was wondering what the status is as far as that. If it isn't closed and you want some of my latest stuff, this is my latest release, and this is my release that has recieved the most positive response for. If it's closed, oh well, maybe I'll audition early enough next time.
  12. Goat rocks! I had the priveledge of hearing this on vgmix.com a while back, and I'm glad this was passed through the judges panel. Rockin guitars, excellent arrangement, and great production. A++
  13. I guess I'm the only one, but... I didn't enjoy this too much. It's a decent arrangement, played well if it wasn't sequenced, and not all that bad. However, to me it sounded like someone banging on a piano faster than they should, just trying to show off some of their speed/skill instead of making a pleasant sounding arrangement. I don't mean make a pleasant and peaceful arrangement of Dark Messenger, but something a little more pleasant to the ears instead of being reminded of a 9 year old banging on a piano. So my opinion: Too fast, too hard. Try easing up on those keys and playing with emotion instead of skill. 7/10
  14. Where to start? Well, making sense, lets start with the intro. It's original, and decent. Good job there. After that we get the melody put on repeat for the remainder of the song. Aside from some new harmonies, a drum beat, and a change in instruments, there isn't much different than the original. I was bored before 2:00 had passed, usually not a good sign. My original feelings of this song for the OSV version was "It's not long enough." With this version my thoughts are "Please God, when will this song end?" Good attempt, I'd say a 4/10 for being able to change the style.
  15. Black Rabite from Seiken Densetsu 3
  16. Simply Amazing. I actually went through and replayed Seiken Densetsu 3 because of this mix. You rock in stereo Helen
