  1. Good start, SirRus. And yes, I understand the need to study for finals and all that stuff. My condolences. ((BTW, you're not gonna get kicked out if you don't have a WIP ready. I just want to see some progress, that's all.)) Knowing your skills are a bit cramped at the moment, I won't even begin to critique the piece, since you will undoubtedly revise it when you have the chance. So, nice start...very evocative, very Zeal-quality, and very nice orchestration.
  2. Your first song in this long of an absence, and you decide to bless us with your presence. I salute, thank, praise, and adore you. BTW, what you have so far, cover it may be, is very nice. Very nice indeed.
  3. Sorry for the double post, but using The Orichalcon's link, I've created a database of all the project files (music, documents, etc.) thus far. The address is http://eof.servehttp.com/ctproject, and though it has no design (yet), it's good enough for now.
  4. Having heard your work before, Mr. Cox, and admired it very much, my answer is HELL YES I'll put you down, and send you your script portion immediately. Awesome development here, people.
  5. Sorry about the double post, but I just recently got word from both krispy and GrayLightning, two of the unconfirmed mixers in this project, and they had to drop out, due to time and activity constraints. So our total is now two mixers lower, but considering that we've added two mixers since the project's beginning, it all evens out in the end. Reminder: post your stuff on deadline. Plz. BIG EDIT: Unknown has finally joined us! He took Scene 22, so watch out for some awesome orchestral coming our way quite soon. ~.C.S.~
  6. Yeah. That's about right. By the way, really nice work evoking the icy atmosphere. I can totally feel this, dude. Awesome beginning.
  7. You can use any source tune that you like, but the one I had picked out for it was more of a Zeal Palace tune. However, since it will be a dark/action piece anyway, Undersea Palace would work very well.
  8. Bump, once again. BTW, this is a shameless plug, but if you wanted to see some of my amazing sprite work, I have some custom Halo 2 sprites now at GSArchives (located here) and some Chrono Trigger-style ones that are in the judging queue (located here). Enjoy!
  9. Very awesome opening, man. That takes the cake when it comes to emotional charge, so far. And the rest is very good as well. I can most certainly imagine this being the song playing during Frog's intervention. End it off with 20 or so more seconds of music, and you are at 'completed' status. BTW, is that the name you'd like to keep for the piece? Or is there something else you'd prefer more, Mr. Wu?
  10. Denadoro Climb - good base, dude; though I have a few ideas for both how you can make it better and how you can increase its length. First off, the very beginning should be a few high pizzicato notes and then about 20 seconds of happier music, then it could degress into the solemn climbing music, and then get more fevered as Marle/Lucca fall and Crono has to save them. Then it'd be cool if it got slightly more upbeat when they reached the platform/summit and start to go inside the tunnel. Lavos Battle - for this one, let me just remind you to 1) keep going, cause you have a great WIP, and 2) at about the 3:30-4:00 area, Lavos erupts and then the rest of the music is the party escaping and watching the palace crumble. So keep that in mind and continue with your amazing work.
  11. That's cool. Judging from the desktop graphic I'm guessing the film isn't CT-style animation; what is it? I didn't see any other information.
  12. Something more like this, really. The background needed to be darker and smaller. Plus, the balloon scene is not in the movie, so it's unnecessary. But otherwise, an incredibly interesting idea. I LOVE the campfire scene screenshot, and the music notes...awesome.
  13. Uh...yeah. I'll be sending out a mass PM this Thursday to remind you all to show me your stuff. But please, don't wait until then. SHOW/TELL US YOUR PROGRESS WHENEVER YOU CAN. So...how about those Lakers?
  14. *sigh* Thanks for the screenshots and all, but there is no movie being made. Not yet, at least. And I don't think it would be CT-style graphics anyway...it wouldn't portray the actions correctly.
  15. Talk about the game in here, I don't care. The game is where the movie came from anyway. But please, musicians, post your progress. If nothing else, let us all know what's going down with your pieces, so we're not totally in the dark. It would be much appreciated.
  16. I just listened to this for two hours straight and was still bobbing my head. Damn.
  17. Alright...instead of posting suggestions, let me just think this over. So please, stop making your own titles. It's far too confusing with everybody voicing their opinions at one time. Let me sort it out, and for the moment, let's forget about the entire thing. I'll get back to it later. Anyway, in regards to the music...
  18. Yeah, I'm still debating the entire Tesseract idea. Don't know if that will stick or not. Thought it would, maybe it won't.
  19. Hah. Sorry, that just conflicts with virtually every belief I hold about time and dimensional theory. I won't go into specifics, but anyway... Besides, the Tesseract we're talking about is not the Tesseract of modern physics. It's something totally different.
  20. From two pages ago... And I'm still working out the title. So thanks for the suggestion.
  21. Alright, we finally have somebody to do the ending theme: the amazingly talented Reuben Kee, or, for your OCers, Reu. You can check out his incredible Cosmo Canyon remix in the WIP forum, if you want. Tight stuff indeed. ~.C.S.~
  22. The most popular remixed song, eh? How about "Corridors of Time"? ... That was a joke, by the way. That would be the worst album title of all. Very unoriginal.
