  1. The only Megaman remix on this site that I actually enjoy. Congratulations, my friend...you've done us all a favor.
  2. Sorry for not posting for so long...lots of stuff going on outside of the project, you know. Like school. Anyway, to answer sephfire's question about bios, just have something really short and to the point...but make it in third-person and with your real name (which is already listed, BTW). For example: "Andrew was born in Dover, DE, and then moved to Jacksonville, FL with his mother. He now resides in Goose Creek, SC, where he is a Sailor in the U.S. Navy and goes to school full-time to become a Nuclear-Power Machinist's Mate." Thar yar. Something like that. To respond to Mythril Nazgul, I greatly appreciate the offer to move to Site Projects, and in a week or so, we may be ready. But right now, it's just a little too premature. I know it's going to be a great move and all, but like I said to somebody else wishing to do the same thing, it's like offering to let a 12-year old play in the Major Leagues. There's still some growing to do. However, when everything is in place, your offer will be most considerably taken up, if it still exists. Thank you again...and expect something rather interesting previous to the jump. ~.C.S.~
  3. I might as well clarify this now...I have no intention to do this same project with Chrono Cross. Though Chrono Cross does have exceptional music, I believe that anyone interested enough in a Chrono Cross project would already be aware of Chrono Symphonic. Just the way I see it. Which is why if another project gets started, it will be with a separate game series. And since I've already made a promise, if at all, that series would be Zelda. But enough about that. Apparently somebody at http://music.world-gaming.com/ saw the project and thought it interesting. Probably not a huge community over there, or even very popular, but some free publicity nonetheless. Several things are still waiting to fall into place, so just you people wait. And check the website! If you haven't already, that is. ~.C.S.~
  4. Yes...a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away, I submitted the project to Protricity, and he basically laughed it off. However, that was 2004, previous to my two-and-a-half-month hiatus, if you will, when it was still Chronicles of the Tesseract. Well, now it's much bigger, much better, and actually has a website with some cool stuff (check it out if you haven't already), with every song hosted online in a single place. So the chances are good that it will be accepted into the forums...there's just the fact that the website is still under construction. In fact, what I'll be doing this week is scrounging up information on each remixer from their websites, bios, etc. to make it seem more comprehensive. Then, I'll be writing additional descriptions for the remixes themselves, outlining what scene they cover and such. Hopefully by the weekend, we'll have some good stuff to flaunt to Binnie, and then maybe we'll be in business. But for now, we wait... ~.C.S.~
  5. Yeah...aside from that whole EA Remix thing... We're still waiting for a few pieces to fall into place before announcing any work on vocals, but rest assured that very soon there will be something interesting to put forth. Additionally, it's come to my attention that a good chunk of the mixers on this project - oh, around half of them - haven't responded to my message, and haven't checked in on the thread. Several haven't even finished the pieces they began, which are now rather ingrained as being part of the project lineup. So, I wanted to ask for some suggestions on a few potential options: 1) let the mixers get here on their own free time; 2) set a deadline for response/progress and then kick off those mixers that refuse to meet it; or 3) just chuck those pieces that haven't been worked on in a while and get new people with a fresh desire to make music take their places. I'm personally looking at option #2, for a basis. Let me know what you think, everyone...this affects us all. ~.C.S.~
  6. Go to the filehost (http://symphonic.herograw.com) and click on the "Project Files" folder. It'll be in there under the label "CT Movie Script", along with the script outline (if you care for a shorter version). Sorry I haven't gotten around to doing edits - this weekend (especially) and the next one will be rather free, so I'll be able to get some stuff done. Hopefully. Also, I'll sign you up, FM. Thanks again for accepting my offer to join - I'll send you your script portion as soon as I can. ~.C.S.~
  7. See...now THAT is amazing cover art. The other one was a good track listing cover, but this one deserves to be on the front of an album. I'm thinking this is all too good to have one selection...perhaps we can have multiple choices for download (a la Hedgehog Heaven)?
  8. You're not stepping on anyone's toes, believe me, Eon_Blue. You're doing this project a favor, if the layout is anything like your designing skills can provide. Pixietrick's site was only temporary, anyway, so...
  9. Hm...I had no idea that you were so interested in going forward with the project, Eon_Blue. But I'm glad that you are. As for the webspace thing, you might want to use http://www.freewebs.com/chronosymphonic as the one you port to new space, instead of the old one...this one has better everything (pixietricks did the design layout for it, BTW). Also, I've "employed" Global-Trance to do a website banner, so I'd like to keep that option open, for his banner to be on the front page. Just letting you know about that before you go ahead and spend a lot of extra time making one. Otherwise, thank you so much for putting forth effort that I didn't even ask you to do (well, a few months ago, but still...). As for additional stuff, I'd like to have a "Project Files" page that contains the script, outline, and OST listing, plus it could also include the pictures that everyone has made thus far. I wanted to make a History page for the project after it's all completed, as well as a copy of this entire thread in text, for archive purposes...make this website the real deal, a total compilation. I still need remixer bios, but I think that can wait for awhile, or as long they want to wait before giving them to me. Otherwise, nothing much I can think of now. Thanks for doing this, Eon_Blue...and for the rest of you Chrono Symphonic fans, you will soon have actual vocals in your song(s). I promise you that. ~.C.S.~
  10. True. But at least get rid of the backpack and the sneaks. ... ... Pleez.
  11. I liked the change to blue a lot. I thought it was rather tasteful (considering I recommended it)... However, the guy with the backpack is still out of place. Yeah...
  12. Ooh...nice art for the CD back cover. Lots of space for titles and stuff. Except that Lavos is known as the Red Star, and in the picture he's white. But other than that, frickin' sweet.
  13. I don't think the CD would be able to sell for money. Unless Claado talks to Square and all that about rights and paying loyalty fees. I'm pretty sure that he's planning to make a torrent for the OCR Projects. Yeah, that was the idea. Selling it isn't legal, so...just like every other OCR Site Project, just put it up for download. Plus all the CD covers, CD jewel cases, etc. etc. As for the "additional" songs, they were audition pieces for the project that didn't get accepted for the Title Theme position (sephfire won that) but they were just too good to be wasted, so...there they are. And as for Mr. Wu's comment...damn skippy.
  14. Hmm...I think it might be best to do a different game series after this project. Besides, I already promised pixietricks I would write her a Zelda movie script, so...you never know...
  15. Hmmmmmm...it seems sort of strange having a guy wearing a backpack and sneakers on the cover of a Chrono Trigger remix album. I dunno...maybe something slightly more related to the Middle Ages or the Chrono universe? Also, the green tint may not be the best color. Perhaps you could try it in some sort of blue/violet, perhaps a mixture. Try it out and see if it looks any better. Otherwise, it's incredible. Complex, and yet everything is connected. And the Epoch thing is really cool, too. Nice job. The logo is just plain badass. And neminem, I have file hosting out the wazoo, an FTP server with virtually unlimited access. It's actual WEBSITE stuff I need. But thanks for the offer. ~.C.S.~ P.S. I'm glad you're so enthused, Wanderer. You won't be disappointed.
  16. This is so freaking amazing. Interest in the project has just spiked tremendously. I just got a response to an e-mail I sent off to Jillian Goldin (pixietricks, of the new OCRemix "Prayer") and she said she would love to do vocals for the soundtrack. Incredible. I'm sorry if you guys don't know what I'm talking about, but once everything gets worked out with the piece, it will be beautiful. Just wait and see. Oh, and thanks Global-Trance for getting excited. I'm glad you share the same enthusiasm I do.
  17. Yeah, probably. But this is just temporary, so...once this is an actual Site Project (i.e. in the appropriate forums), then alternate space will be found. Unless, of course, you happen to have something on-hand...
  18. Dude, hardcore awesome. That is looking very much like CD cover art (with a few tweaks/additions, of course, but damn...). I already "employed" Global-Trance to work on website design stuff, so this is very nice. Very nice indeed. As for Methiea's question, the song isn't finished yet. But it will be soon, hopefully.
  19. AAAAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWWWWWWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS OOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE. I go away for a couple of hours to study, and now we have a bunch of great updates to make. Neato! Let me send you the script portions, Kanjika. I'm sure you'll do well with both of them. And thank you, herograw, for putting the files in a not-so-hard-to-reach place. I appreciate it. ~.C.S.~
  20. I only have a few minutes to do this, but Kanjika, if you want to join - and I heard your wonderful music - you are more than welcome to take any open songs. Check the track listing in the first post to see what's available. Hit me back later with your choice(s) and I'll send you the script portions. And thanks for showing up...some enthusiasm is needed at this point. ~.C.S.~
  21. UPDATE: I reuploaded the files to a new section of the herograw server, so now they're back online, but somewhere else instead. Additionally, there's a website! Visit it! http://chronosymphonic.150m.com/index.html There's a link to the Remixes section, and also to Remixers (but since we don't have any info on anyone yet, it's kinda blank). Renovations will be going on for a while, and if anyone wants to contribute something artistic (and original) to the website design, please send me it. Enjoy! ~.C.S.~
  22. Hmm...it was working fine for a good amount of time, but now it seems that it isn't. I'll look into what's going on. Additionally, I need to request of all remixers... PLEASE SEND ME A SHORT, PARAGRAPH-LONG DESCRIPTION OF YOURSELF, FOR USE IN THE CREATION OF THE CHRONO SYMPHONIC WEBSITE. THIS IS A CRUCIAL STEP IN OUR PATH TOWARDS BEING A TRUE SITE PROJECT, SO... ~.C.S.~
  23. Well...for the 600th post of the thread, I, once again, have filespace online for all of the music...and this time, we have AMAZINGLY fast download times, so we aren't in the predicament we were last time. I'm going to look into some sort of frontpage design or something of the sort, but I don't have any experience in that area, so...may take a while and some communication. Keep submitting stuff!
  24. Alright, then I guess the general consensus, from the few people that have bothered to respond, is that the Site Projects forum would be a step in the right direction. Accordingly, I shall prepare something to submit as evidence of our worth, which won't be hard considering we have such a grand amount of quality work. Thus...stand by. ~.C.S.~
  25. Alright, so another mixer accounted for and 2 votes for a Site Projects move. Also, Mr. Wu, 5:00-5:30 would be awesome. The original was 6:30, but I've since decided to cut that down, so...5:00 would be fine. And Lavos' theme? That might be cool...let's see how it works out. Just remember that it slows down at the very end for when they go through the Gate, so...yeah. Anything else?
