    Hey guys, so my wife makes little beaded charms and buttons and jewelry and such in her spare time, and she sells them on etsy. You can see her stuff at http://migotochou.com

    Anyway, she just informed me that she is a finalist in a contest that a Facebook Page she follows is having, and the winner is determined by the total number of "likes" their picture gets.

    All you have to do is go here and like her picture!

    It's not like the winning prize is that outrageous, but she was so bubbly and excited and adorable when she told me she was a finalist moments ago that I know your support would mean a lot to us both. :]

    started the multiplayer today and it was fuuuuuuuuuuun. weird, glitchy shit happens when i play as vanguard though. at the end of one match i was at least 10 miles under the actual map with my left arm inside of my body

    Lucky you. There's a huge debacle right now that prohibits most of the existing users (myself included) from being able to access the DLC or online features (like multiplayer). Lotta people up in arms about it (and rightfully so).

    I've uninstalled the game for the time being, was too much of a distraction. I wasn't getting any work done lately with the temptation of "Just one more multiplayer match, it's only 20 minutes!" on here :)

    I really love the combat in 3. In my fantasy, they'd go back and redo 1 and 2 just to implement the combat system. (As in, leave the games as they are, but just make the combat what it is in ME3).

    That said, I cannot stress enough just how STUPID it is that there is one button that does everything. There should be separate keys for sprint/dodge, take cover, and revive. I can't count how many times I'd try to revive someone, only for the game to misinterpret the almighty space bar as "Oh, I'm going to make you jump swiftly to the left and take cover over here instead" or the times I wanted to run away to safety and instead the game decides "Nope, I'm going to make you crouch DIRECTLY in front of these two pyro geths instead" or when I've been running to revive a teammate, and I brush a wall with my elbow, and the game decides I want to take cover against that wall instead. And when every second counts, I try to back away from the wall and continue running towards my downed teammate, and the game makes me do acrobatics instead.

    Seriously. I understand that they didn't want it to be *too* complicated, but dumbing it down to a ONE-KEY-DOES-ALL mechanic was just, well, dumb. Anyone else feel my pain here?

    Curse you, Jimmy! I was doing so well at saving money. Now I really want to buy the game.

    Must...resist....

    Not to further tempt you, but that's probably the cheapest that game is going to be for quite a while. I dunno, it *may* go on sale in the summertime, but so far I don't think Origin is following Steam's brilliant business model of throwing such insane deals at its customers that they impulsively throw all their money at them. As in, they're still old fashioned and greedy when it comes to selling stuff.

    Also, Origin (and EA's servers in general) sucks.

    Also, Geth Inf + Valiant/Black Widow/Javelin = pretty much unstoppable. I've triple killed 3 guardians on Gold (got lucky) with my Javelin. Also, Javelin + piercing mod + piercing ammo = I can pretty much shoot through anything. And the hunter mode wall hack (that's basically what it is) + the Javelin's built-in wall-hack mode is just... not fair to the enemies. :twisted:

    I don't know if I should feel sorry for the guy or not - you seriously have to have some mental deficiency to attempt to rip off the same artist twice in a row after getting caught. Didn't stop me from calling him a fucking idiot, of course, but still.

    On the bright side, you seem to have an obsessive fan, BGC. Doesn't it just make you feel all icky and creeped out?

    But seriously, I'm glad Soundcloud removed the song, but it pisses me the hell off that they won't just remove his account. That is 100% grade A bullshit. They're basically acknowledging that he's a repeat-offender music thief, but he gets the material taken down and a light slap on the wrist (if that) and gets to continue about on his merry day ripping people off. Load of crap if you ask me.

    I tried to do that, but Soundcloud asks that only the copyright holder or their agent fill out that form. As a result, I just commented on the track and will leave it to Jimmy to actually report the infringement.

    I already filed it on Soundcloud and Facebook. We'll see if they actually do anything about it.
