Arr I would reroll on blood furnace but...I know I would never actually play there actively for it to be worth it. It's hard enough leveling my FM character (she's been stuck at lv 15 for like...2 weeks now). If you *want* a better balanced PVP server, Sargeras is a 1:1ish ratio and high population, it might be different at lower levels though I have no idea.
Edit: Oh yeah, since I'm here, and you all are happy wow players any suggestions for a background to give this guy?

I just started playing again a few weeks ago, but my buddy Smot has told me that Warlocks are overpowered, and MS warriors are. I can't really judge myself, all I've encountered in world pvp is rogues, shaman, other druids, and paladins. Smot said they're nerfing locks and ms warriors though soon. I don't really pay attention to that stuff to be honest (it's easy to ignore overpoweredness when you can run away from anything!)
The game has changed a lot since I played last year, I never thought I'd see the day that people are expecting me (I'm a druid) to dps or tank rather than heal. Shaman lightning bolts hurt a lot more then I remember...and paladins are about 10 times easier to kill now.
Either way I'm enjoying the game, more then I was when I quit too. And apparently I'm still an "overpowered healing goddess" despite a year out of practice, so I can still do what I enjoy most in small groups.
Anyone play on Sargeras (horde) or Feathermoon (Alliance)? Go by Lorenith on both (also Llamas on Sarg) please don't try to gank me if you're the opposite faction, I'll either run away or waste about 20 minutes of your time fighting.

Sheesh, you can try to comprehend or you can keep talking down to me though I guess, I don't care since you don't seem to understand what I said initially. I KNOW how to convert between file types, I said that in my initial post in this thread.
I'm saying I don't posses the software/samples to make music that sounds like something other than a midi, if you convert a midi into an mp3 it's still going to sound the same so I can't participate in other music contests, thus I like the idea for this contest cause it's something I could actually participate in.

Yeah just because one thread in the story is being tied up doesn't mean there aren't lots of dangling ones left over, or new ones to create.

I personally hope they take their time with releasing the expansion, I guess it's my own fault for taking a year long break. But it's really discouraging for me to try to keep up with expansions if they'll be so frequent. It means I'll never get to see some areas given that I'm taking my time and not going all hardcore like before.

Oh I love mp3's. I just can't participate in anything that involves making them since I don't have the software for it. Best I can do is midi's converted to .wav to keep the sound the same for everyone.

This sounds interesting (especially since I can't participate in stuff that requires mp3's :S) I might participate occasionally provided I can figure out how to use the program effectively, and have time from school.

Doing one every two months does seem nicer for people who'd want to compete, more time for them to figure out what they want to do, and actually do it.

I've got this urge to draw brackets of brackety doom, but I wont...
Also, how is the final battle going to be handled? Anything special or no?
I also noted that there will have to be a bye *somewhere* in the brackets how's that being handled? I lied and played around with it on paint, and just gave whoever loses in the winners semi finals a "bye" in the losers bracket.

I disagree. Yoshi's lack of a third jump makes him so easy to edgeguard, and very predictable. Yoshi has limited invincibility during the rise in his jump, yes, but most players know what exactly when he's vulnerable to attack and just wait. The fact that Yoshis often use their air dodge as means of a third jump also makes them very predictable and punishable. He is a great character on the ground- I've seen good players own with him. His lack of a jump cancellable shield is another handicap though. Yoshi just loses ownage value when he is knocked off the edge. Yoshi needs that extra jump for sure.
Ok you need a third jump, I've never had a huge problem with edge guarders or being "very predictable."

Ooh he's cute, and looks more like old yoshi. Something about his nose kind of bugs me though, I know Yoshi has always had a big head, but his snout seems a little too round or something?
I never found any need for a third jump on him before, but it's cool if he has one. They probably nerfed the way he used to jump somehow though if he has a true third jump now, and not just some weird little boost from egg throwing, which would change his game play quite a bit.
Course they did say not to expect the characters to play the same so I guess that's to be expected.

you knock yoshi one time and he's got nothing. Any other character with a third jump gets to jump again after being hit. That was the problem.Most of the time hitting yoshi mid-jump doesn't knock him back or out, or even disrupt his jump much, it can yes, but it depends on when exactly you hit him.

I thought a couple of the Melee songs were played by a live orchestra, or maybe they were just done really really well in a synthesizer, because some of the songs played at the live thing sound about the same in the game (only a bit slower). Why would they give credit to an orchestra in the end credits of the game if they hadn't used it some?
I dunno I guess maybe they were all just electronic...

Does anyone really want 30+ characters? I'd much rather a smaller, more well balanced roster that does without some characters from Melee than just adding a bunch more on top. Melee had tons of characters, anything more than that seems like overkill to me. Would anyone truly miss Mewtwo, Ice Climbers, Pichu, Dr. Mario, Young Link, Mr. Game and Watch, and Roy? I'm talking the characters themselves, not their playstyles. If any characters are removed / replaced, I'm sure there will be some other character that has a similar style in place.
I would miss Mewtwo, he was fun to play as, and well it's Mewtwo, the pokemon fan in me feels that he was a pretty nifty addition.
Game and Watch would be missed too, he's so crazy and fun to play with just for giggles.
I guess I wouldn't be surprised if they were removed, but yeah I would miss the characters, both the way they play and the characters themselves.

So basically he arrest one, and the rest egged him on into arresting all of them, or trying to and having to chaise them all down.
Subduing them is fine since they were all running off resisting arrest and so on, putting them in strangle holds isn't though, that's the bit that I think might be just a wee bit excessive.
And why did the police officer go after the person with the camera and put them under arrest? He didn't seem to be doing or saying anything. (Although I must admit the audio is really fuzzy, and its kind of hard to follow what's going on anyway).

I dunno, just seems he was manhandling that kid and a few others later on (had the girl in a choke hold at some point).
The video doesn't really show whats going on though, what'd the kids do besides be skateboarding? They didn't do anything threatening before that. Although it was rather unwise of them to try to run, resisting arrest is a no no isn't it?
I don't really pass any judgment cause I can't see whats going on.
I guess mostly I'm just wondering, why is this officer trying to arrest the kid in the first place? And why is he going so crazy about it?

Dunno, I only play WoW 2-3 hours at a time and sometimes skip a day or three...I've gone from 60-66 in about two weeks. Instances are way easy now too, compared to the old ones. I dunno about raids, but I'm more interested in getting into the arena stuff with my friends anyway once I hit 70.
Granted I'm killing my subscription again at the end of this month cause school starts again soon, and I can't afford to have any distractions this semmester
