Yes. Metal Gear wasn't even IN the NES Metal Gear. You had to blow up a computer and that was it.

Just wanted to clarify that both NES Metal Gear games are both not canon. Acid is also not canon. Portable Ops is canon and comes shortly after MGS3.

Are there any other games that got this sort of treatment with the OST? I honestly can't imagine DQ8 without the orchestral music.

Raiden had blue eyes from start to finish. This other guy has brown eyes. The possibility of brown contacts or something is stupid or so help me God.
