I called my Gamestop to talk about the midnight launch. Mine is inside a mall and I had no idea how a midnight launch for a store inside a mall was going to work. Then they went off about the tournament. The more I hear about the Gamestop tournament, the less I want to play in it.

Very different. Falco was my main in Melee. Now with Brawl, I can no longer do all three types of laser hopping, drillshine/pillar, or waveshine escapes.

Uh I don't really know anybody here so how the hell am I going to pick songs for people. Edit: I guess we can do some 1 v 1s... I wouldn't mind playing any of you guys for fun, but if you feel obligated to prove yourself then go through Atma and the others first.

In this thread, don't talk about how good you are if you only play with the same people and never go to tournaments or anything. "I beat all my friends" all the time is boring.

Who are those songs for anyways? Also I'll probably judge on what's considered "good" Smash skills. Hint: Anyone who openly professes they're good at Smash is (in most cases) obviously not.

Oh it's definitely not Gimpyfish. In IRC he goes by Kuri-Chan and on the boards he goes by WarriorKnight. This guy wasn't being sensationalized. He's just that good. Everyone in the channel admitted that he was the best one present and he destroys just about everyone that comes in the channel. The fact that I actually won a few games was apparently impressive. Bowser in the hands of a really good player in Brawl is quite a challenge. Bowser is brutally strong and is not affected by knock back as much as everyone else. I had to bust out Ganondorf (one of my top 5) and my main (this one's a secret) to actually win. I NEVER have to use my main.

So tonight I was invited to challenge the apparent god of Brawl in the Smashboards IRC channel. I got schooled. Really badly. It was refreshing. As I vented my disbelief as to how good he was in the chat, everybody said not to worry as he just rapes everyone without prejudice. Like three stocking everyone on three stock matches without ceasing. I did win a small handful of matches over the course of the night, much to his and everyone else's surprise. It was pretty much "Wait this new guy actually won?" Apparently it was quite the accomplishment. Get this though. This guy plays Bowser.

Basically nothing can outweigh David Hayter.
