  1. Futuristic space trap type beat: http://www.AfterTouchBeatz.com (2nd beat on the page) Don't listen to trap music myself but tried to take what I've heard of the genre and set it in a nice space atmosphere - - what do you think of it?
  2. Hey guys this is a song I worked on for quite a bit the last few days wanted to get some ears on it. Any feedback would be appreciated. We're all trying to get better. Here is the song on Soundclick : http://www.soundclick.com/bands/pag...songID=10610451 And on Soundcloud if you use that : http://soundcloud.com/2point0sounds/mystery-meat thanks in advance guys/girls !
  3. I need to get pumped up for the GRMRB http://www.box.net/shared/svmmgcia8i source (as if it's needed): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OvIaOM6t3w8 Nowhere near finished yet
  4. http://soundcloud.com/erineclipse/worldofmemories
  5. NEW: Rather than update my original thread for the whole suite like I'd originally planned, I figured I'd just consolidate it into a single thread like I should have done in the first place. So, yeah. This is the whole thing. The first of three suites of music from a whole bunch of Zelda games. Still not completely happy with this version (some flubs here and there), but much better than previous versions. ------------------------- You can download the mp3 for the first Hylian Suite HERE [edit: just noticed that the reverb is causing the pitch to curl whenever there's break in the playing. I have no idea what's causing it, but hopefully I'll be able to get it fixed. In the meantime I'm leaving this up for anyone that wants to list to it anyway since the rest of it sounds fine.] ------------------------- Older stuff: The opening fanfare to the SNES classic, The Legend of Zelda - A Link to the Past, arranged for brass quintet. Probably the most epic 18 seconds I've ever had the pleasure of playing Low Db's for the frikkin' WIN. New version (now with REVERB) available in three formats: mp3 wav aiff See post #13 for more info. Enjoy. [edit] Many thanks to 0x000000FF for providing a link to the source. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yn2W7ylZ8hY [/edit]
  6. Today I finally tried the free "Sonatina Symphonic Orchestra" and so I ended up writing some orchestral stuff - maybe spent 5h or something on that. Either way, I wonder what you think about it? Because I really don't know anything (theoretical) about orchestration (and my mixing skills are highly improvable, too ). Here is the link: SJM\Soundcloud - Departure of the Hero
  7. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BuL6NTQVK1Q&feature=channel_video_title Here's my newest Castlevania remix. This time around, I chose one of my personal favorite tracks from Circle of the Moon for Game Boy Advance. I hope you like it. Cheers!

  9. Something I wrote the other night because I couldn't sleep. Intended for use in a video game. This is all I could do, the project file wont even open on my computer without a fight. Even then, the project won't play so I have to guess at how it will sound. I'd like some feedback. I know for a fact if you listen to it on crappy laptop speakers you can't hear the bass...something I should probably fix. EZ Drummer NI Massive (Lead, Pad) Dimensions LE (Hammond Organ, Bass) EWQLSO Gold (Xylophone, French Horn, Timpani, Church Chimes) Church Organ 2nd (Great free VST) My own samples http://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/419545
  10. Well, I just got a copy of Vienna Special Edition, and I'm just exploring it now and getting used to the different layout. To start I thought I'd give it a test drive, so here's a somewhat random smattering of styles in a shorter track, though a battle feel seems to prevail through most of it. I was really happy with how it sounded and thought I'd try something I'd never have been able to pull off with Garritan, so near the very end at 3:50 I threw in some big Hollywood-orchestra hits, and I'm very happy with how it came out! I think there's alot of cool sounds I can get out of this program, once I have a better feel for it. http://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/419382 Feedback always appreciated!!
  11. Just one of the remixes im doing for a mixtape im making. its going to be primarily hip-hop and R&B. I have a long list of sampled tracks from a wide number of games from the sonic series, mario series, mega man series, Golden eye, Kingdom hearts, just to name a few. i thought i would share one of my more recent ones. enjoy more to come http://www.youtube.com/user/Dadecountyprod?feature=mhum#p/u/2/Pdb6BrPLae4 Make sure you watch it in HD for better sound quality source
  12. This is a remix of the song Dance to the Death off of KH2 I did this past March. I put a decent amount of work into it and wanted more helpful feedback than what Ive been getting from my friends here Thanks in advance guys:-D http://youtu.be/gkh1dNIuFxU
  13. Let me know if I should make it longer. I stayed up until 4 AM making this, sorry about that. Updated Version (Act 2): http://soundcloud.com/erineclipse/lime-hill-zone-act-2/s-nY6Bx
  14. So sometime last year I finally got around to getting my copy of TFM Music Maker to work. As some of you might know, TFM MM is a freeware tracker that emulates the Mega-Drive yamaha FM soundchip found in Sega Genesis consoles. It's got a lot of presets, and you can even make your own synths (a skill which I find lacking in me). All in all it takes a while to figure things out, but once you do you can make some really cool musics. Heck, recently, I just made an entire game OST using TFM MM for someone's game-project; when said game is finally released I'll be sure to post the OST so everyone can listen. And I'll even post the game too! Anyhoo, anyone want to listen to what I've been cooking up for the last several months? Counter-Revolutionary the first finished full-length song I completed with TFM. It's pretty bare-bones, yet for some reason it remains the longest song I've made with it. The Sky's the Limit here is a sneak peak at the level 1 track I made for the person's game. I think I kinda flubbed up on the percussion in this one (it was hard to make a good 14/8 percussion though) in retrospect, but it's too late to change it now. Still, I think I did pretty well on it. Life of Villain Using them fireshark and battletoads presets, man. Good stuff : D US CATMAN: THE LETHAL TRACK , I think I'm really starting to improve with the program at this point. I still don't know jack-all about most of the effects, but hey at least it's catchy.IRONLIFE RHYTHM Inspired by Zuntata and OGR, as of this typing this is the best thing I've done with TFM. The slight tweaks I made to several of the presets really brought them out, and I love that think, dirty, bass. But hey that's just me. So, hey, listen, tell me I suck, or something. Or if you have some awesome TFM music of your own I'll try to give it a listen too! : )
  15. Remixed this a long time ago, don't like it anymore. . . so I re-did it, progressive house-style http://www.box.net/shared/6a1oo972ku I honestly don't have a good feeling about whether or not this type of arrangement is acceptable for OCR. . . it's kinda repetitive (as it is house) and takes a while to get anywhere, but I tried the best I can to get rid of some of the repetitiveness without actually getting rid of the house, lol source: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O9EtAPA4KEE Production and composition are still works in progress.
  16. Mario theme remix I did back in March. I think I did pretty okay production-wise. Just trying to get more ears to it. Any feedback would be appreciated . Thanks guys/gals:-D http://youtu.be/G1jvR4SfmmY
  17. This is a heavy metal / electronica song I worked on with a friend from Georgia. I dont really like working with vocals when the person isnt actually in the studio but it's okay I think. Check it out guys! Feedback would be appreciated! http://www.soundclick.com/bands/page_songInfo.cfm?bandID=1099395&songID=10561952 check out some of my other orignals and remixes too! http://www.soundclick.com/bands/page_music.cfm?bandID=1099395
  18. Hey everyone, I'm following ocr since a while now, and i think it's to contribute to the community. I wanted to drop a remix on the forums, but i thought it was better to introduce myself to you guys, with something more personal, a song i wrote a while ago... I thought a lot about what song could be the best to introduce myself, and i think this one is the best. So here is it, Everything has to end (aka This could be an ending theme) This song is a mix of everything i like when i compose something : ambiant pads, orchestral strings, synths, guitars. Hope you'll like it. I got much more compositions i'd like to share with, so don't hesitate to ask.
  19. Please tell me if I should make another version (for example, tell me if you don't like the pitch change at 1:19, or the slowdown at 1:40.) Also, please let me know if the part after 0:27 has any wrong high notes. http://soundcloud.com/erineclipse/shuttle-2-1/s-kK8WA Please tell me if I should rearrange anything, add anything, or add any special fx as well.
  20. I couldn't decide which version is better. Also I was wondering if I should replace any instruments, rearrange or add anything, and stuff. regular version http://soundcloud.com/erineclipse/supersonic-4/s-tnQlJ orchestrated (layered) version http://soundcloud.com/erineclipse/supersonicx#
  21. This odyssey mix features tracks from Castlevania 2 NES in this order: Continue, Town, Bloody Tears,(Custom Bridge), Night Time, Mansion, Dracula's Mansion, Dracula Fight, and Game Over. The total length of this piece is 5:40. I finally found a good HD codec combination using Vegas that works well on youtube. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=quDQO5LelRg&feature=channel_video_title I hope you like it. Enjoy!
  22. This was one of the first songs I tried to compose. I used Garageband and didn't really spend any time mixing or adding extra plug-ins or anything, so forgive the "cheap" quality of some of the instruments. However, I do think it's a cool piece and the middle is especially Zappa"ish". Unfortunately, the original files got deleted when my hard drive crashed so I can't go back and modify anything. But I'd love to know your thoughts anyways! Zappa Baby: http://www.mediafire.com/?v2m161nqnvhi8eq
  23. YouTube artist Jay Lee jumped on my jazz-funk sample beat: MP3 Player SoundClick Really diggin how this one came out; what do you think of it?
  24. And another one of my favorite songs in the game.
  25. Hey guys, my brand new band Needlemouse just came out with a debut, self-titled album of the Rock/Metal genre. I have made Sonic The Hedgehog covers before in a similar vein. This is our first single entitled "High Heel Hold Up". Please let me know what you guys think. Feedback greatly appreciated! High Heel Hold Up If you like that one, here's another Rockin tune called - Trashed One for people who prefer the softer melodic songs - For the Ladies
