  1. Whats up everyone, this is my take on the classic Green Hill Zone stage from Sonic the Hedgehog (1991). This is also a concept theme for Sonic & Amy. It has a smooth jazzy J-pop flavor to it (like most of my music), yet I kept it somewhat simple and short (yet effective). I also tried to capture that peaceful & fun feeling this stage and game gave me when I first experienced it 20 years ago as a kid. I dont know what else to say about it...ill let the music & video explain the rest. Enjoy! - A Emcee Muzik.

  3. hey there, one of my older ones but i think it could use a critique of the skilled crowd on ocremix so i used flstudio 9 for this along with these vsts: autotuner (i know it's played out, but i have a sucky voice ) fpc (1 drum loop thoroughout the song) various settings from my fav VST -- Vanguard other various effects in FL Studio... http://profile.ultimate-guitar.com/WiKiD/music/play569012
  4. I tried to write jazz awhile back and this was the result >_< I know, not really jazzy, but none the less I wanted feedback:
  5. https://sites.google.com/site/hemophiliac/thatplaceweknewpiano.mp3?attredirects=0 ^mp3 of piano reduction https://sites.google.com/site/hemophiliac/ThatPlaceWeKnew2.pdf?attredirects=0 ^sheet music This is going to eventually be read through in about a month. The mp3 is piano because clearly this has yet to be sung and recorded. Things to note: -I wrote the poetry -The fermatas and breath marks will allow for more time in between notes so there will be more breaks/pauses in there. -I consider this finished, aside from possible dynamics tweaks that I may make after hearing it live. I'm open to any comments.
  6. This is a remix of Akai Tsuki from Disgaea. Some of you may know of it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q5DBD7lWtag
  7. This was included in my NES medley but it is the same orchestration and arrangement. Arranged by Richard Jacques and Cody Chavez Inspired by Video Games Live Performed by the St. Mary's University Winds Orchestra http://soundcloud.com/mrtrent/punch-out-nes-ending-theme-for

  9. So this reminded me of the ocean. It's a more mellow track than what I'd usually do. I had to throw in a guitar solo too. Not a shredding one but a mellow, almost bluesy thing. Tell me what you think
  10. Hello everyone , I am new here , but I have been doing music for sometime. I have lately finished my rearrangement of the song " An Empty Tome " from the game Castlevania : Order of Ecclesia . God I love that game , and the music is fantastic. Michiru Yamane is awesome , always manages to blend lots of music genres together , like Jazz with rock and baroque style classical music, Fantastic stuff. Here is the link to my song , I already submitted it for judging , but from what I understand It's going to take a while. 11. Brand new sample beat I made: http://www.soundclick.com/player/single_player.cfm?songid=10314620&q=hi Came out sounding like some Just Blaze party beat....what do you think?
  12. Hey, It's been a while since I've worked on any songs at all, but I felt like doing it after watcing Tron:Legacy which the music was done by Daft Punk Anyway, here it is: http://profile.ultimate-guitar.com/WiKiD/music/play960784
  13. Was playing Black Ops the other day and it was frustrating as hell!! couldn't get any killstreaks haha so the next day I ended up making this to get my frustration out: http://www.soundclick.com/player/single_player.cfm?songid=10256561&q=hi What do you think of it?
  14. Sure, why not? Seems to be the flavor of the month, so I decided to join in. Slowing down from my normal frantic musical pacing, this one is a pretty minimalistic & chill 9-bit remix (can't say if it's '9-bit' enough, but I love that genre name). I haven't posted anything in a good while, now, so may as well. http://www.box.net/shared/nxibqfiok2 If you hear some Nespus influence on this one, I'll admit in some way's I'm blatantly ripping him off, but what can I say? His mix was freakin' awesome. I don't care, and neither should you (seriously, though, check his mix out, too - it rocks). Crits? Gushing praise? Tell me that there are too many of these mixes around? I'm happy with any any feedback, so post away.
  15. Now all my music gear is reinstalled! I did a little and repetitive track just to test some new effects in FL Studio and improve a bit my skills! As for the genre, it's like a big mix of a lot of stuff lol. Enjoy!
  16. Haven't posted a song on here for about a month...but that's because I haven't made a song worth posting for a month lol Anyway here's my new track... http://soundcloud.com/silent-ice/dfgdfg-12a Comments?
  17. NEW: Rather than update my original thread for the whole suite like I'd originally planned, I figured I'd just consolidate it into a single thread like I should have done in the first place. So, yeah. This is the whole thing. The first of three suites of music from a whole bunch of Zelda games. Still not completely happy with this version (some flubs here and there), but much better than previous versions. ------------------------- You can download the mp3 for the first Hylian Suite HERE [edit: just noticed that the reverb is causing the pitch to curl whenever there's break in the playing. I have no idea what's causing it, but hopefully I'll be able to get it fixed. In the meantime I'm leaving this up for anyone that wants to list to it anyway since the rest of it sounds fine.] ------------------------- Older stuff: The opening fanfare to the SNES classic, The Legend of Zelda - A Link to the Past, arranged for brass quintet. Probably the most epic 18 seconds I've ever had the pleasure of playing Low Db's for the frikkin' WIN. New version (now with REVERB) available in three formats: mp3 wav aiff See post #13 for more info. Enjoy. [edit] Many thanks to 0x000000FF for providing a link to the source. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yn2W7ylZ8hY [/edit]

  19. And now... for something completely different. http://soundcloud.com/retrotation/poppyseed-electro-nintendo
  20. Wu-Tang type beat I made the other day: http://www.soundclick.com/player/single_player.cfm?songid=10256562&q=hi No samples used! What do you think of it?
  21. I made this and now I'm waiting for it to hopefully get approved by the judges.. who knows, hopefully. Constructive criticism would be appreciated.
  22. Made this beat with inspiration after playing some old NES roms: http://www.soundclick.com/player/single_player.cfm?songid=10281027&q=hi&newref=1 Except for the drums and bass everything was made with 8bit restrictive synths....thoughts?
  23. http://soundcloud.com/aires/escape Album title track XD
  24. This is "This Is Your Home" from Final Fantasy 13 arranged for strings. It's a performance quartet, which means I programmed it so that I just played it right through my keyboard. I used Reason 4 with Miroslav. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j6XFbJoKct0
  25. I've taken some time off from remixing, but I just couldn't pass up the inspiration I got for this. http://tindeck.com/listen/ogpr This is the start of a chippy remix of the Abandoned Ship theme from Pokemon Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald. Well. . . Sort of half chippy. . . I seriously don't know what genre my music is. Could somebody please tell me if they know? hahahaha This is not complete yet. . .I intend to add at least a minute's worth material to it before it's completed. And polish a lot of stuff. . . And here's the source track: for anyone who needs it
