  1. This is Wesker's theme from Resident Evil 5. It's a very good piece of orchestral music, although most if it isn't incredibly melodic save for that main recurring line (which is incidentally all I was interested in remixing). As such, the remix is in no way full (nor of any particularly high quality), with me only intending on remixing the main melody line and adding the half-composed intro as an afterthought. To be honest, the only reason I'm posting this is to make a start to a body of work here and kinda introduce myself to the community. I don't really intend on touching this remix ever again, so while it's by no means a complete remix, I'm listing it as finished. All done in the fruity loops piano roll interface, all notes picked out by ear. https://dl.dropbox.com/u/14014916/madness.mp3
  2. Hey! Reunion Netlabel is where you find free electronic music, released at a steady pace, with HQ music from many people from this community, but also from the net label/demo scene/music scene in general. Check us out, ok!? http://reuniverse.org (160+ FREE tracks!) -.------------------------------------------------------------ Sweet! I made it with the third November Double.. December in Sweden starts in 3 hours. *Phew* the late second one made my nightmares even worse. BUT TO BRIGHTEN UP THE MOOD - HOLLIDAYRAIN! Yes, we know him from Protagonist and OCR, right? Well he's back for reunion madness for the 3rd time! his 4th and 5th track! and coolness beyond progressive "sawlead" trance. Direct Download Links: Reunion165: "Subconscious" Reunion166: "Complete" -------- Website: http://reuniverse.org ENJOY!
  3. Original composition using samples from the games "Super Castlevania IV" & "Dracula X: Rondo of Blood" on the Super NES (© Konami). I've been having great fun lately making game-ish tracks using SPC/SNES samples, I hope you will enjoy it! (please "like" it on 8bc if you happen to have an account there! ) http://8bc.org/music/mv/Belmont%27s+Return+%28SNES+-+%22Castlevania%22+style%29/
  4. Greetings all! After a buddy of mine, James, convinced me to learn Famitracker, we've had a lot of fun composing several songs together. One of them is now available for you to hear at the provided link. We had fun just trying to come up with a title, then we finally decided that this could be music you'd hear during the ending credits of a fighting game. http://www.vimeo.com/17269072 The video quality isn't the best, but the audio is fine. We hope you like it! EDIT: Just added this one as well: http://www.vimeo.com/17272310
  5. Hey, Im new here and my mate (Sonicbrewtality) told me that I could get some good and bad feedback on songs that Iv remixed. Its not a game mix and its not my own work, its a mash-up of Linkin Park - Faint, Paramore - CrushCrushCrush and Britney Spears - Toxic. I couldn't find the instrumental for Linkin Park so i had to make do with the actual song as the backing track. Please Rate and Comment Thanx
  6. Children of Mana is a little known game which is a shame because it really does have an amazing soundtrack, one of my favourites being Trial, a secondary boss music occasionally heard in the game. Without further ado, here is my version of that song, inspired only by the original track and the many instruments MixCraft has to offer Enjoys ^^ http://www.gameremixes.com/remixes/277-v2-Kylebean-Trials_Of_Mana
  7. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hUKrhOu6e28 The a Remix of a track I made a few years back that gained popularity when the original version was unknowingly featured in the video game "Mass Effect 2" in the lower level of "Club Afterlife" on Omega. I received many, many emails from fans wanting to get a copy of the track since it was unreleased on the ME2 soundtrack after they discovered I wrote it (myself and several other composers were unnamed for musical contributions to the game); Fans discovered my name via metadata after a user extracted Lo Fi Epic from the PC version of ME2 (called the Techno Madness Mix). I decided to rebuild the track from it's original elements and add in additional parts and layers I simply didn't have the technology to add years ago to bring the track back to life and to the fans who have been asking for it for many months. Lyrics "Assuming control of this rave" If you want to download it you can do so here: http://jessejamesallen.bandcamp.com/track/lo-fi-epic-embracing-the-afterlife-mix?permalink
  8. Updated 8-01-12 Anyone remember this one? When i realized that what i was working on for DoD this month wasn't going to be ready for the deadline i decided to fix this one up. Cleaned up the mix and rerecorded a few parts. Backed the flute with a better flute while keeping the distortion on it. Something i like. Is this ready for another pass at the judges? 9. Yo OCR! I know, I know. I'm late with the 2nd out of 3 november doubles!!! Why, you ask? Well, I wasn't satisfied with the two CHIPTUNES I had queued up for release yet. But now... ... both "Kruzia" and "Swimming Fire" are released!! These chips are both from the same project - a RPG Maker VX OST I'm making, mostly for fun of course. Previous chips, such as "OMG! It's a Dungeon!" also originates from this project. As soon as the first OST EP is released I will update the older ones here on reunion for the final versions. /Jonas Reunion163: Platonist - Kruzia http://reunion.sgxmusic.com/163%20-%20Platonist%20-%20Kruzia.mp3 Reunion164: Platonist - Swimming Fire http://reunion.sgxmusic.com/164%20-%20Platonist%20-%20Swimming%20Fire.mp3 Website http://reuniverse.org Enjoy!
  10. Hey guys, just wanted to share with you this new track of my band, Izkemia. It's called Sinapsis, and it's the 4th track of our 3rd album, called Involución. Well, hope you enjoy it. Any comments are welcome! (NOTE: switch to 480p for better audio quality).
  11. Halo vs Black Hole Sun – DNB Remix Soundgarden’s ‘Black Hole Sun’- Drum and Bass Remix. MP3 and Reason 4 Song File download links are in the Youtube Video description. Comments and constructive criticism much appreciated - Hope you like it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QK8Hey7CRM4
  12. Hey guys, third thread here...just wanted to know what you guys thought of my first decent original! haha:)!! http://snd.sc/gkXvZA
  13. A Haunting Orchestrated remix of the Doopliss Theme from Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door. I believe this is my best upbeat and psycho unbalanced song yet. I remixed it with some random yet comparable pieces and wanted to give it a "In your face" sort of haunting feel. Original Composer: Yoshito Hirano Enjoy ;} http://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/378095
  14. I finally finished my album, which is a mix of techno, orchestra, and rock. It's designed to be one long song, divided into tracks (not implying that the songs sound the same). I tried to cover many genres, and I hope I kept a good balance of upbeat vs downtempo. http://kruai.bandcamp.com/ Please tell me what you think!
  15. http://soundcloud.com/retrotation/gunslinger I mean business
  16. This is a beat Blubeatz recreated off the dome, and added his own twist to it. It's the song from the last level on Streets of Rage. I hope everyone enjoys it, and pass it along to others. If you have any questions, comments, or just have something to say, then shoot me an email. http://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/368035 Ferno Inferno0636@gmail.com
  17. alright since there really arent any remixes of this game ( I couldnt find any ) I decided to make my own enjoy! Original: so tell me what you think
  18. http://www.box.net/shared/lsgk0jrn0v OMG OMG OMG, Gario writes purely orchestral music!? Yup - in fact, I personally prefer to write for the orchestra over writing electronic music. I just don't have the tools to make it sound good, right now . This has been sitting around my computer for about a year, so I decided to share. It was made for a project with orchestral Metroid remixes, and now I decided to share it with you guys here. This isn't and was never meant for OCR, so don't worry about it's conservative nature or poor quality. It was made on Sibelius with the onboard Sibelius soundfont (which isn't good, but it's a touch above GM). If anyone wants to upgrade the soundfont to something a little more pleasant just let me know here and I can send you the files . I'm personally not going to update it, though, nor am I going to spend any time rearranging it for any reason - it's finished, in my book. I don't mind feedback, though (as long as it's about the orchestration/arrangement, that is - sample quality will be a redundant statement ). Alright, enjoy. You can't have enough Super Metroid mixes . If you want the sib file/score/midi just let me know.
  19. It's about time we had some Lolo 3 love on OCR, so I made a Sousa-esque march based primarily on two themes from Lolo 3 -- the main level music (first strain), and the overworld theme (trio). The second strain is a development of the little jingle you hear when you get a power-up such as a bridge or hammer. Source: (2:11) Main Level Music (3:16) Overworld Music Things to improve? Enough source? Original enough? Worth submitting with a little more polish?
  20. Electric Movment Finally finished it ;P ! cut it short, i have no audio interface to work with to reduce audio/pc stress, i am looking in to a m-audio fast track pro tho. Wav + Download http://soundcloud.com/aires/electric-movment MP3 + Download http://tindeck.com/listen/wbzk
  21. ok so heres my new thing. if you didnt play ff7 just skip to the music :Pduring the time when shinra pwned the world, president shinra had alot of corporate clients not just that, but also the turks didnt have much fighting to do in the pre-cloud era, so they formed a funk band to play at receptions for clients for shinra, this gave birth to a new genre of music called "evil corporation funk!" and the turks formed a band called "turks go pop" Tseng on Synth/Keys Rude on bass Reno on drums Elena on guitar Rufus got no musical talent but occasionally plays triangle sephiroth did play clarinet with them but after working out that hes the son of jenova he really neglicted his clarinet studies... for shame! anyways ill probably be realising some more funky remixes along this sorta band arrangement and genre currently working on a main theme mix. will probably make a ridiculous video with random conversations between the charachters if i get too bored on my time off work lol. EDIT - FIXED BASS EQ,MADE PANNING MORE SYMETRICAL or on video
  22. This is a composition made in Impulse Tracker using samples and taking inspiration from the game "Ogre Battle: The March of the Black Queen" (© Enix). Hope you like it! This was made in 2009 and I post produced it a bit just now so that it sounds authentic. http://8bc.org/music/mv/Mercenaries+%28SNES+-+%22Ogre+Battle%22+style%29/
  23. This is an original music composition I did last year. This was put together primarily with sounds created from Native Instruments Reaktor 5, and Kontakt 2. A version of this evil little trance track made an appearance on the NASCAR KART Racing soundtrack for the Nintendo Wii in 2009.
  24. As heard on the Tiger Woods PGA Tour 11 Soundtrack
  25. This Song is a Tribute to People around. Like my Friends, Family and everyone who never gave me up. I've used Fruity Loops and Various Free Soundfonts/VST's to arrange this Track. It took me aprox. 120 hours. Like you can hear, my biggest Problem was the Bassline... since the Lufia Battle Theme Remix i tried to improve on writing Basslines, but still can't get a perfect hang to it. I Hope you still have fun listening to this piece.. So far, A.D.
