Spent a week on this thing, mostly trying to compress and reverberise without it sounding like complete garbage. I've been playing the guitar for over ten years and have written lots of music over the years but never really learnt how to record or use DAW's. I only found out what compression did about 5 months ago, which is embarrassing. So, still learning the vast nuances with actual music production and 'sonic space'. I was originally going to use the old six-string for the lead bits in this but couldn't get a recording that didn't make my ears bleed, I don't even have an audio interface and the only hardware I DO have is an Akai - LPK25. All the samples I've used are free ones and so are the VST's. Original:

Hi, everyone! It's kinda intimidating for me to post a topic here. Especially since a lot of my favorite ReMixers already precede me by sharing their own WIPs with you all before they quickly became really outstanding pieces of music. I recently worked on a remix of 'Ada's Theme' from 'Resident Evil 2' and, as I know it's far from being perfect, I was wondering if I could get some very helpful advices from you guys. Maybe it'll help me make the track … listenable. Hi people! I have finished my newest Street Fighter arrangement. This is actually my first cover that includes two themes in one. Here is the cover: And here are the original ones: Super Street Fighter IV - Theme of Akuma Super Street Fighter IV - Theme of Gouken It was very fun to arrange this because i love the intensity in both themes. Akumas theme is a bit more furious, while Goukens theme is more peaceful. So i wanted to bring those elements in my cover too. DAW: Mixcraft 7 Electric Guitar: Ibanez RG370 lefthanded. Bass: Mixcraft 7 Drums: EZDrummer What do you think about it? Is there something that is too loud, or too low? Every feedback is important to me .
