  1. https://youtu.be/nEZXk4qNy_8 Want feedback on how the added sound effects impact in the song. Annoying or do they provide a cool effect

  3. Originally I intended to release it for Halloween but life got in the way, but Faxandu doesn't get enough remix love so finally decided to share it. I love the OCR community and the songs here have brought me so much joy over the years so I hope Faxanadu and OCR fans enjoy this one.
  4. Hi guys, here's another remix of NES classic from me. In the beginning this track was performed by... 'The Beatles' (seriously), then it was released by Ultra\Konami as soundtrack for NES 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' videogame. And NOW I took this melody and made... Well, I think it's sounds like liquid funk remix, heh. It was my first experience in this music style. Track already submited and waiting in OCR inbox but feel free to leave feedback. FLAC download - https://cjblackace.bandcamp.com/track/night-walk Thanks and have a nice day!
  5. Main part done. Still have some adjusting to do; breakdown might be re-written, gonna see if it grows on me. https://soundcloud.com/audiocolor/electric-seaweed-tmnt-nes-dam-remix-sample-wip/s-3yMaJ PS: Tried posting the embedded code, but I can't get it to come up... dontknow..
  6. Hi. My first post here. Already submitted this track and I hope it will be released soon. Kyattou Ninden Teyandee aka Ninja Cats aka Samurai Pizza Cats. Great game for great 8bit console. I took funny 15 second melody from cutscene and made 5+ minutes remix. Hope you like it.
  7. Another piece I did for DoD, but unlike the last one (which was a mostly straightforward cover), this one is a mashup of 2 songs from the OST and has a much more original arrangement. Haven't submitted yet, but I think I may sometime soon. Let me know if there's some mix tweaks or anything else that could improve it before I do! Originals: Now, smashed and banged (smanged!) together and turnt to 11:
  8. This is just a tribute to one of the best songs i've heard on a video game, ever! Original song composed by Rob Hubbard, a genius composer and muscician, over the last 40 years. The song that i cover it's the one that appears on "Skate Or Die II" tittles theme stage for NES console Drums were made on "Guitar Pro 5" and edited on "Fruity Loops 7" with VST "EZDrummer MetalMachine" Guitars were recorded on "Vegas 11" trough BOSS GT10 pedalboard. Hope you enjoy it, and greetings from Argentina. Guidorch Link: Original song: Skate Or Die II - Tittle Theme
  9. This game has ZERO remixes! It is such a good game, and the music is memorable. Especially, the well.
  10. In what seems to be a misunderstanding of the usual OCR process, I already e-mailed this in (derp). But let's pretend I didn't! This is a somewhat doomy/sludgy metal take on this tune. I'm pretty happy with it all in all. Feel free to feedback away! Original: My hot take on it:
  11. Hi! This is probably my best cover out of eight that I have put up on Youtube and Spotify. Having hard time finding any kind of audience/community to share these so I figured this is the place where I can find some video game music fans that give opinions and hints! I try to be pretty faithful to the original arrangements and bulid my own stuff on top of that cos' it brings my piss to a boil when you have a metal remix of some tune and it's just filled with double kick and djent without anything to do with the original arrangment. So there's my modus operandi, enjoy! Ori
  12. I finished another one of my emulation style remixes. All sounds extracted from the original games as separate channels using sound emulation, then mixed together/distorted/stretched/manipulated. Sounds are from NES Castlevania 2, Super Castlevania 4, SNES Dracula X, Castlevania Bloodlines, and Super Metroid. Source:
  13. Hello. Made it long ago. What do you think? Source EDIT: Fixed source link. Sorry.
  14. I started working on this remix a few months ago, been on ice since then until this weekend. Damn it was a long time ago I could finish a song in just 2 days. So what do you think? Would it be something for the OCR community? Everyone loves the Zelda melodies, right? <3 //Glejs
  15. NES Version SNES Version
  16. YES ITS BEEN DONE A MILLION TIMES BUT... I wanted to have a go. Also Kenichi Matsubara is a beast.
  17. So a friend of mine challenged me to remix this theme in the Goa / Psy Trance style. Well, I like a challenge. So, here is my first attempt at Goa Trance. Looking for feedback on the style, sound, eqing, everything. I'm new to this genre (and this site), so let me have it. Thanks! 19. Updated contra music and match the progression of the song to about how far I can make it now without the code. Getting old now :p
