  1. Hello, while watching my partner play ACNH I would constantly hear the Dodo Airlines transition screen and it got stuck in my head. It was so engrained in my mind that I decided to make a disco track based on the 7 second sound sting. I do wonder if it's enough to be considered a cover since the source material is only 7 seconds, hence why I am submitting for review. Thanks!
  2. Hey everybody! Here's a new Piano Arrangement for you all, it's not a particularly complex or substantial piece this time, just a little version of the Animal Crossings Main Theme which I wanted to try out. As so many people are playing it nowadays, I thought I'd choose the main theme for people to have a go at if they wanted to try. This piece is pne of the monthly Patreon pieces (link in the video) DISCLAIMER: Original music is by Kazumi Totaka, video is original in-game footage.
  3. Hey guys! I hope you’re doing well. Lately all my friends have been playing Animal Crossing, so I decided to cover k.k. Cruising with a bit of drum n’ bass and salsa thrown in for good measure hope you enjoy! KK Cruisin' - Animal Crossing (Jazz Fusion Cover) | The Geeky Guitarist
  4. Here's an Animal Crossing track called ''Able Sisters'' that I decided to a lofi remix of. Just felt inspired and wanted to give it some new life, haha. It's technically supposed to be a little older sounding as it's ''Lofi,'' but it has a driving hip hop beat on top of it. I first created a cover of the exact arrangement from the original piece (upright bass, acoustic guitar, flute, drum machine, synths), then I treated that recording as a sample to transform it into the lofi genre. Anyway, here it is! lemme know what you think! a like or comment would be appreciated if you enjoy!
  5. Hey all, I recently completed this rather different take on the popular K.K Cruisin' track from the Animal Crossing series. I decided to model my rendition after the lesser known instrumental "aircheck" version, which has more of a instrumental hip-hope vibe to it. I thought it would be interesting to combine elements of both versions and I think it turned out pretty interesting. The aircheck version has a moodier opening that I thought would be a nice change of pace to include, rather than the more well-known opening of the original. I also incorporated elements that are not present in the "aircheck" version, which mainly includes the amazing chorus section. The main goal was to really put my own spin on the piece, so I recorded some improvised solos and added in a synth lead solo at the end that I hope you all enjoy. This was personally a big project for me, so I hope some of you will get a kick out of it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TfXpwP1_28s
  6. Hey there! I'm a big fan of the Animal Crossing series and the music is a huge part of why I love it so much. I recently collaborated on an arrangement of the 8PM music from Wild World, which is one of my favorite pieces in the series. It's such a simple and sweet tune, and we decided to give it a little bit more of a live feel. I'm using an Arturia Beatstep Pro to drive the drums and the Soniccouture Canterbury Suitcase EP VST for the keys. A full gear/software list is in the video description.Last but certainly not least, the wonderful Ifnot provided the guitar performance, including that wonderful solo at the end It was a blast to make. I hope you like this little rendition.
  7. Hey everyone! I just completed this arrangement of 7PM from Animal Crossing: New Leaf. I feel like it's a pretty faithful arrangement overall. The main difference is that most parts were recorded with real instruments or better samples and I added a piano coda to give the piece a solid ending. Hope you guys enjoy it.
  8. The mastering was kind of rushed, but I'm still really proud of it! I don't see many remixes of K.K. Slider songs, so I'm working on an album of K.K. remixes. I submitted my first one to OC but never heard back, so this time I'm just gonna post it in the forums. Hope you enjoy! Any requests for other K.K. songs I should cover? It doesn't have to be exclusively metal, since I compose in different genres frequently.
