  1. Phantasy Star III 'Legacy' When there is an arrangement from Phantasy Star 3, this is the track that usually gets the attention. But that's because most people never get past the title screen, which this theme is based on. There is lots of other good music in PS3, don't get me wrong. Anyway djp has taken the title theme and made it sound like it would have if it ever came out for the Sega CD (re: nice and clean). Considering that this is one of djp's early efforts, it does impress. I'd love to see what he could do with this tune on his current hardware/software setup.
  2. I recently covered "Dance Through the Danger" from Shantae: Half-Genie Hero! I went for a mellow, acoustic treatment of the source. I sang, played the harp, hammered dulcimer, Irish bouzouki, percussion, and enlisted my husband for djembe and video editing. Hope you enjoy it!
  3. I covered "Sis Puella Magica!" from the anime Puella Magi Madoka Magica for An Overclocked Christmas Vol. XI. I recently made some tweaks, and along with a video my husband put together - which shows scenes from the anime - I uploaded the (hopefully) final version to YouTube. I arranged it in a folk style not unlike the original. So, I sang the vocals and played the harp, hammered dulcimer, Irish bouzouki, and recorder. I had fun arranging this song and I think the video is very fitting, so I thought I would share this improved version. Enjoy.
  4. Hey guys, This is my 5th arrangement for Undertale soundtrack about spider dance : Spider dance (Nom's remix) What do you guys think ? Hope you guys like it
  5. This is the theme from Mega Man 3, Wily 3 (&4) done with synths, loops and Celtic harp. First submission to OC, thanks for any input! Thanks! https://soundcloud.com/crystacular/wily-persons
  6. Dear OCR Community... This is my second remix. I thought it a good idea to look at the "Requests" forum for ideas and found one from "DoubleBro7" that was both fun and challenging. Here's the URL of the original tune on YouTube: https://youtu.be/ZdZ6bwhCmms Here's the URL to my remix of same: http://www.homegrownhymns.com/Celtic_Square.mp3 <- This is the ReMix Here's a screen shot of the remix in the DAW (helps explain the mix): My attempt was to focus on the Celtic feel I got from listening to the original. I tried to stay with the swing 12/8 feel and add triplets as spice. I also added harmony throughout and a new melody line in the middle. Please provide feedback as I always find it helpful Thanks... dabedaab (Steve Snider)
  7. Gradius 'Horizontal Armada' This sounds pretty cool, fake orchestra with drums and other electronic sounds! Not the best Gradius tune in the world, but this one was a good one to remix and give it that djp touch (it sounds a wee bit similar to his Star Fox mix). The french horn sounds pretty good, though I am used to a bit more texture from french horn sounds. A good listen.
  8. Star Fox 'Clan McCloud' I think right before he made this tune djp must have went to the music store and purchased some new instruments and/or software because the sound quality of his mixes started making leaps and bounds forward with this cool tune. The percussion is particularly good, I think. So are the strings which sound very smooth and clean. In the second half the song quiets down to make room for some cool piano, then gets going again. I thought that was a brilliant touch. Nothing at all bad to say about this ReMix. Well I could probably find something bad if I really wanted to, but I don't want to.
