Marvel Super Heroes isn't quite as well remembered as it's predecessor, X-Men: Children of the Atom, or successor, the Marvel vs. Capcom games, but I think it is the standout title in Capcom's series, not only in terms of gameplay and roster, but musically as well Among my favorite themes is Psylocke's stage theme. It's stylistically similar to Psylocke's previous theme from XMCOTA, but has a more upbeat chord progression. As such, I thought it'd be super fun to turn Psylocke's theme into a Deep House track (I love dancing!!). Yuki Iwai, the original theme's composer, did such a great job giving Psylocke's theme such a danceable rhythm, reminiscent of the Streets of Rage 2 soundtrack. As always, I had fun creating this remix. I hope you all have even more fun listening to it! Song Title: "From Atop a Moonlit Train" (Psylocke Theme Remix) Originally Composed By: Yuki Iwai Arranged and Performed By: The Native Dialect BPM: 144 Style: Deep House Hardware: M1 MacBook Air Software: GarageBand, Audacity From Atop a Moonlit Train Source

https://youtu.be/1PlLWMABKpg During the creation of this I remade it several times. First when I got the refrain as that funky groove I decided to go all in on that funk lane. Having my mind on a futuristic weapon manufacturing process and that art of Mega Man when he has cables connected to him I was inspired to a more funky/synthy piece than usual. Combining that thought with vibes from classic 80s TV commercial songs I knew exactly what I was looking for. After a bit tweaking with rhythmic details and variations I was finally happy with how the remix sounded. I hope you can groove along until the end! There is small unique details throughout this whole piece. Let the machinery begin!

Hello everyone! I'm Eidenlux, and this is my first post - so I deeply apologize for any mistake I could incur into. I'm gonna share with you a tune I've submitted yesterday. Being my first submission to the OCRemix community, I just realized it could've been a better idea to post it here first, so I could have some outside feedback before bring it directly to the jury. I'm not sure whenever this style is widespread, hence the question mark in the title. Basically, it's a blend of Symphonic metal, Cyber metal and Synthwave - Replacing the vocals with lead, "retro"-style synths. So, for that manner, I'm gonna give some background info about this track. I apologize if it's too long, that's why I'm gonna post the story part in spoilers, so you can skip it if you're not interested in the details (although they could be useful to understand the context of the production and arrangements): So, after many years, I thought: "I love this track. I have now mastered the production style I want. Now it's the time to make my own version". For that manner, I tried to leave some reminiscences of the original CPS instruments, like that synth used in the middle part of the original track, using my own synthesis (ironically based on those classic sounds). I would love to read any kind of opinion on any aspect of the tune, both musical and/or production-wise. As for my part, I'm comfortable with the overall production, which is basically what I had in mind. I didn't deviate too much from the original source track, except for a few details, new instruments like distorted guitars, stronger drum presence and the addition of my personal middle part in the second round of the track. Perhaps I like this tune too much to change it to the extreme hahaha But I'm quite satisfied with the final results; otherwise, I don't think I would have had the guts to submit it in the first place Anyway, here I'll leave the link on Bandcamp, it should have an acceptable, good streaming quality: https://eidenlux.bandcamp.com/track/royal-flush-bgp-groove Thank you a lot for this space and your time. We'll be reading each other

Hello everyone, I'm curious if anyone knows what has happened to the Mega Man 25th anniversary album called MM25: Mega Man Rocks that I believe launched alongside MM25: For Everlasting Peace. I was trying to recommend it to a friend. I bought it off of iTunes back when it released in 2013, and for some reason I can no longer find it on iTunes or any other music service. I have found heaps of press releases alluding to the two albums, but none of them that have links, including the publisher's website have any further information. For example: here's a press release published on the Capcom website for both albums with links. All of the links for Everlasting Peace still work, but the Mega Man Rocks links are all duds. I've found a few other streaming or digital stores that have tracklists, but you can't even listen to previews. This might be the only reference I've found on Youtube, under Capcom's account. It was published by Sumthing Else Records and has artists such as Mega Ran, Armcannon, The Protomen, and The Megas. So has it truly vanished? Was there some kind of legal swamp it fell in to and had to be pulled? Anyone know what happened?

Hey, all, nice to meet you! First submission on OC Remix, sweetness! We just released a Mighty No. 9 remix on SoundCloud that we wanted to share with you all. I know some of you may feel some sort of way about that particular name, but as with most Mega Man-inspired things, the music was definitely worth remixing! This is based on the main theme song of the game, composed by Manami Matsumae. Hope you dig it! - ichordic

What's up everybody. It's been a while. I've never done a drum and bass style before and thought this would be a dope way to start learning it. I remade the ending credits theme from the original Marvel vs Capcom. Not a remix but not a cover either so I called it reborn. I'm also not submitting this here. Let me know any opinions, critiques, etc. Peace Original My version

3. completed MVCI Concept/Remix - Ryu: Seishi

So, I realize I haven't been on here in QUITE some time. However, I feel that I've honestly grown as a remixer/composer since the last time I've been here. Now would I say my work is submission worthy? Ehhh, not yet, but I'm on my way. This right here is my proudest remix yet. I mixed Ryu's Kobu and original themes together for a Marvel Vs. Capcom Overhaul series I'm doing. I have a Jedah one up, too but I'll put that up later. I'd def like some feedback and want to know what you guys think about it and I hope you all enjoy it! -
Hello Everyone! I've been remixing video game songs for a few months now and I'm finally posting them here. This is my latest remix, Ken's Theme from Street Fighter II. It's complete, but before I submit it, I need to finalize the name. Currently, I'm referring to it as "Street Fighter II Ken's Theme Hard Rock Remix," but if anyone could suggest a better name, that'd be great. Let me know what you think of this one. I have a few other completed songs that I'll post soon as well. Dallas

I desperately need more "Resident Evil" remixes... or an official OCR Album -- a man can only dream But for now, I want to see how far I can go with this piece of my own. Inspired by Tony MacAlpine's "Tears of Sahara", I'd like to see if I can come up with a sweet rock ballad version of "Sleeping Beauty", which I fell in love with. Original: Remix: I need to reach some friends of mine in order to help me record the final version. In the meantime, feedback is very welcome

I was planning on making this into some long 14 minute back and forth battle between Capcom fighters and marvel caracters. I got pretty exhausted and wanted to move on, I left it alone and finished it recently. So that's how it became just marvel characters. Take You For A Ride
