  1. Hi! First post here, and also my first track in way over 15 years. The classic forest theme from Secret of Mana. Hope you'll like it!
  2. Hi! This is my first post here and I feel a bit sorry that it is a rather egoistic post where I show off my own stuff. But I will try to invest some time reviewing other songs too. I started a series of Secret of Mana covers. Sadly it's not suitable for OCRemix because I use the original titles as inspiration for my lyrics and keep those titles. This is part of the concept. I try to imagine the songs of the game as songs for a singer and the titles are hints for the stories the songs want to tell. I also play as much instruments as I can and I hope that I can get some collaborators to pla
  3. Hello there, This is my first arrangament for OCRemix: https://www.dropbox.com/s/x0npzk4bc7443g8/Into The Calm Of It.wav?dl=0 Right now is not finished (it ends abruptly at 1:33). I will add more parts, the mix and mastering still need work, and I will make more minor changes to the the arrangament to make it more interesting I have choosed a song from Secret Of Mana, and my idea was to rearrange the song into something more calmer, more contemplative. Maybe it will differ from the original but my idea wasn't to cover exactly the original song, but making something new fr
  4. Hey there, my favorite Twitch streamer (www.twitch.tv/bakihanma20) was streaming gameplay of Secret of Mana 2 the other day, when he suddenly broke into a spontaneous freestyle rap, over the in-game music, while playing the game. It was a really cool, unique moment! Warning: Lots of N-Bombs, F-Bombs, and other offensive language in this video. It's mostly harmless, but some people may get offended. Anyways, enjoy!
  5. The People's Remix Competition 341 PRCv14-03 Hello everyone and Welcome to the People's Remix Competition! Welcome to round 3 of PRC season 14. The second round, PRC340 is now in the voting stage. Check the link: PRC339 was won by Popoi, it was a close call but a well deserved win. It was a good start of the season. He selected the source for this round, 341. Source: Secret of Mana – The Legend (SNES) MIDI Source Information Note: this song already has an Ocremix, it was in 2009 when Ziwtra did a remix. He used 'Into the
  6. Hey all, A humble remix of one of my favorite tunes from SoM, the theme from the final dungeon. Hope you enjoy it! Leave Time For Love
  7. Hey guys, I recently finished putting together this collaboration with the accordion player Jackson Parodi, and I'd love to hear what you think of it! Cheers!
  8. Hi. It's my first post on this nice forum. I did an orchestrated version of secret of Mana title theme. I did my best, thanks for your comments. Enjoy. Youtube version : Soundcloud version : https://soundcloud.com/anausicaker/secret-of-mana-opening-title-orchestrated
  9. Feedback is most welcome, please- I'm new to the OC ReMix crowd so I'd love to start off strong with my first submission. Thanks! I initially imagined going more orchestral since it's such a melodic, fluid piece. Alas, there have been other remixes of that nature, and my strongest suit is bass/groove/vibe. That seems to be untouched territory on this song, as far as I can find, so I embraced a new direction. It's got an R&B/Electronic vibe that slowly build while scattering in the notable motifs from the original. I reharmonized the chord structure, and took my own liberties on the bas
