The Instrumental Light
\ This does not bode well. Oh darn it, I'm really sorry. I forgot to mention you, oops. Good luck, Audix.
Sole Signal
Heh, just playing. I'm pretty new around here, you're cool.
sgx
Coolness! Finals time. Really appreciate the support from the folks here. Man, if I win this competition, $5,000 would be so sweet, right?!! Of course! That's more than I expect to make selling albums this year, and really, my main goal is to get my tunes into the most ears as possible, so I propose this: IF I WIN THE GRAND PRIZE THIS MONTH, IN THE SPIRIT OF CELEBRATION, I WILL LOWER THE PRICES OF ALL THE DIGITAL DOWNLOAD ALBUMS IN MY WEBSTORE TO $0 FOR ONE WEEK. $0 is totally the same as free! YES! In all, that's roughly 5 hours of SGX music in high quality mp3 or FLAC formats you can download. You won't need any type of credit card or paypal to pay $0. I will also heavily discount all of my available physical albums in my store. My webstore is located here: http://www.protagonistrecords.net/buy/
Jillian Aversa
So this is what happens after you've won the grand prize... Andy and I have been sitting at the very bottom for the last hour. Looks like everyone is deliberately voting us down.

Sole Signal
Geez, I've gone from 41st to 14th and now back to 39th. SGX just went from 1st to 36th. Can't take it, I'm going to bed.

kitty
Just remember the last time we did this. That crappy ass song that was in 1st all day finished somewhere in the 30s by the end. Anything could happen today.
Nutritious
Voting time for me. Good luck guys.
BardicKnowledge
The first 75 of my votes are in, and I've got to get ready for counterpoint class (by making some progress on my Kefka fugue, yay!) So, robots in love....lol. Seriously though, what does everyone think of the non-OCR tracks this time around? Edit: The other funny one is "Come Over", only because the first 30 seconds or so sound like it's from a cheesy porn movie.
mattoco
Some of the Non-OCR tracks I voted for this time included: Enemy by Livalie (good vocals and instrumentation, but the scratching feels like an unnecessary addition) Live Like You Believe by SiLOam (not really a fan of Christian rock, but the normal ties in this track were done subtly, which is well done, though it can be a bit repetitive) Furious George (fantastic sax work)
jmr
I'm only just starting to vote on the finals, but I must say that I'm enjoying this month's (non-OCR member) selection a bit more than lasts.
Jillian Aversa
I like Maegan Wright's song, "Kinda Like It." Overall, though, I think there are a lot of weaker songs in the finals this month.
zircon
Here are some of the tunes I'm enjoying in the finals. * SiLOam - "Live Like You Believe" - This one could be on the radio easily. * Justin Hellman - "Furious George" - Excellent jazz. * Two Days Out - "Higher Ground" - Not groundbreaking, but an awesome classic rock style piece. * Brion Riborn - "Wonder Is Gone" - Just a really nice song overall. * A Fool's Conspiracy - "End of Days" - \m/ The production here is awesome, reminds me of A7X. Jillian Aversa
Oh, "These Old Shoes" by Reggie Miles is pretty awesome too. He has that rustic, mountain-man blues thing going on.
Sole Signal
Man, this is hard work. I'll have to pick it up again later tonight. Thanks for all the votes guys!
Mindeffects
July10 actually made it to the finals with another song, which is better than "Cibola" at least. ^-^ It's better because it's Dream Theater. I can't believe this, another case of plagirism! OurStage is infested with posers, and this one made it to the finals! Oh wait, they take covers too? Dhsu
Well, that's what happens when nobody reports it. :/
Mindeffects
No no, it's valid, I guess. But the interpretation still sucks though.
Dhsu
Wow, if that's true that just opened up every single one of my remixes for eligibility.

Dhsu
But it's for bands who *exclusively* do covers, which clearly does not apply to our friend July10.
Forty-second
The finals this month happens to fall on one of the busiest days of the year for me... However, if I feel the need to take a break for a bit, you can bet I'll be voting for all of you in on Ourstage! I've done some voting in the quarter-finals and such, about 100 votes all told, divided between the categories. So congrats on making it to the finals!
