bLiNd
It's a loud mp3 compared to most. The title is the same as in game but I liked the original as one of DKC's better tunes. I like the percussion instrumentation; it's very Donkey Kong. The beat seems a bit too looped, though. I would have added some fills. The melody sounds a LOT like the original, not too much was changed there. I like how you did the section at 2:00 though the background sustained countermelody could come out a little more, as it's getting covered with the drums. I really liked the panning at 2:45. The originally composed section at 3:30 fits well, but is a little too mechanical and looped, even for a "factory" tune. You could have really done more with the climaxes at 4:10 4:30 and 4:40, like a pianoforte then a crescendo and a crash cymbal. The ending is kinda sudden and caught me by surprise. It's a decent mix. This version on OC was an early version. goto vgmix.com for the final version. I original did this in 2003 so its dated, but its kinda late to change anything according to your tastes

Marmiduke
Some very tasty trance. I find that trance usually takes advantage of melodies in a way that doesn't really represent the source much at all, but this mix definately keeps that DKC feel. It's faithful, yet more high octane and ballsier than the original ever was. There's plenty of hills and valleys spread throughout, so the otherwise derivitive beat wasn't a bother for me. Likewise, the partially hidden melody wasn't a drawback either; in fact, I thought it added a lot. The mix seems richer for it. This is up there as one of my favourite solo bLiNd mixes to date, and reaffirms my appreciation of good trance. Awesome indeed.
Caffei
I just like it so much...I was suprised because I knew that the name "bLiNd" told me something XD and then I saw the name...and listened to it. I own that trance album! XD Industrial fear was the song I preferred at first because well it has a cool DK feel to it and I like the sounds a lot. I actually took that song to make my aerobic course in front of the class which they referred to some kind of "space" music...T_T' Anyway, I have that album since 1 or 2 years and its still one of my favorite songs when it comes to DK remixes! ^_^v Great job! OceansAndrew
Woah, vintage bLiNd, very cool stuff, especially that break into the B section at 2:48. Total <3. It's cool to see how much he's improved since 2003, but also it just goes to show that before even half of the mixers around had even considered making a remix, bLiNd was doing it right. Good stuff. Crulex
Gotta hand it to you, bLiNd, you know how to rock a beat. This has got to be the best tune on DKC and hearing it in full techo style is cool. While "Permutation" had an epic (as in style, not degree of awesomeness) sound to it, this has more of an "original" feel and it still makes me smile. The chorus (well, I call it chorus and don't care if that's right) at 2:48 is truly amazing.
phantasia
I always get happy when this tune starts to play on my ipod. Awesome beat.
Necrox
The reverbed hits in the intro are nice and that is a fat kick. I also like the arp-like delay (and the arp itslef later on). The synth at 4:15 or so is also nice. After hearing some of his other stuff, this mix seems somewhat scaled down, but it's the oldest one, so whatever. Decent mix.
