Dafydd
Not on mine it's not... Apparently some users can choose to disable smilies in their posts and others can't. Why? Also, when are we going to be able to choose whether youtube links in our posts are converted to little youtube frames or stay as links? At this other forum I got help with the thread renaming problem they have a special tag for making youtube frames out of youtube links, but here we don't. Mr Azar
In the meantime, you can just use TinyURL with Youtube links to solve the linking issue.
Dafydd
Sure, but it's still annoying. You can choose not to have links to images turn into images, urls not to turn into links etc. Youtube clips should be like that too.
Liontamer
I believe we'll have it like that when vBulletin 3.8 is implemented. Prezzle?
djpretzel
Newer version of Youtube vb plugin allows users to disable, confirmed.
DarkeSword
Disabling smileys has to do with the editing mode you use. Go to User CP > Edit Options and scroll down to Message Editor Interface. Change it to Full WYSIWYG.
