AkumajoBelmont Posted March 9, 2009 Posted March 9, 2009 Okies, so this may be old new (well it kinda is), but I've only just come across this while google-ing Imogen Heap... again. Amazing artist she is. http://www.twestival.fm/?p=195 So long story short, Imogen has uploaded some RAW vocals for a remix competition. The song in question was never released or used. However, the catch is that the vox will only be up till March 12. So get downloading!!! The fact of the matter is you can get some FREE vocals, Imogen no less, to tweak and do with what you will. Awesome. The vocals can be obtained at the link above. Just thought I'd share this with all of you. I was stoked to stumble across this, and I thought I'd share the wealth. I'll definitely be trying my hand at this, competition or no. Would be interested in seeing what everyone else can do with this too... the vocals are brilliant and catchy. And hell, IT'S IMOGEN HEAP!!! Flip side and all that Quote
prophetik music Posted March 9, 2009 Posted March 9, 2009 i might actually do something for this...but there's no way in hell that i could beat something that akumajobelmont puts out. 80s FTW! Quote
AeroZ Posted March 9, 2009 Posted March 9, 2009 CRAP! Tried to keep this a secret. Don't want too much competition! *Mwgahahahaha* Quote

Palpable Posted March 9, 2009 Posted March 9, 2009 Damn, wish I had heard about this sooner. I'm a huge fan of hers and this sounds fun. No way I'd be able to finish something in three days, but maybe I'll grab the vocals anyway. Quote

Petara Posted March 10, 2009 Posted March 10, 2009 Tiesto's remix of Hide and Seek is one of my favorite songs evaaar. If someone tops that, I will pee my pants in glee. Good luck remixers Quote
Wintermute Posted March 10, 2009 Posted March 10, 2009 I submitted mine a few minutes ago. It'll be under "Dan Bruington" as the artist. In the 200s somewhere I'm sure. Meanwhile you can download it direct from my website if you feel like it: http://www.danbruington.com/music/imogen.mp3 Quote
Global-Trance Posted March 10, 2009 Posted March 10, 2009 Tiesto's remix of Hide and Seek is one of my favorite songs evaaar. If someone tops that, I will pee my pants in glee. Good luck remixers Randy Boyer and Eric Tadla aka EnMass had a good one a few years back. Edit: Also R3volve's breakbeat remix... which I can't seem to find. Quote
Dhsu Posted March 10, 2009 Posted March 10, 2009 Actually I checked the link again and I don't see anything about a competition or any sort of prize. Looks like it's just for fun. Quote
Wintermute Posted March 10, 2009 Posted March 10, 2009 Anybody else doing a remix? Gotta get the files quick! Quote
Nicole Adams Posted March 10, 2009 Posted March 10, 2009 Edit: Also R3volve's breakbeat remix... which I can't seem to find. R3volve's remix is by far my favorite. You can listen to it here. I may do something with the vocals someday. I have way too many projects going right now. Quote
Nishay Posted March 11, 2009 Posted March 11, 2009 So I have been listening to all of the submissions, and although all of them are amazing, I find number 41 to be the best. It really matches Imogen Heap's style and I just love it. Keep up the good work everyone, cant wait to hear the winners!!! Quote
prophetik music Posted March 11, 2009 Posted March 11, 2009 how do you say her name, anyways? ee-moh-jean? Quote
