prophetik music Posted May 3, 2009 Posted May 3, 2009 new dreamcasts! 100$ brings you a new system with cables and that, a controller, a web browser disc, and a demo disc. dreamcast games are super cheap nowadays, too, so you can get a bunch of games for pretty cheap. check it out, guys! probably one of the most underrated consoles in history, right here. Raziellink Posted May 3, 2009 Posted May 3, 2009 Tempting. Most tempting. I have a used one i picked up a couple of years ago, but who knows when it might give up the ghost? With great games like Third Strike, Bangai-O and Mark of the Wolves, i kinda owe it to myself to keep them from collecting dust... Quote
EdgeCrusher Posted May 3, 2009 Posted May 3, 2009 Probably could cross post this with http://www.ocremix.org/forums/showthread.php?t=23144 Quote
prophetik music Posted May 3, 2009 Author Posted May 3, 2009 heh, i should. yeah, i'm honestly thinking about picking this up. although, with groove bias coming out soon... =P Quote
Lunarfall Posted May 3, 2009 Posted May 3, 2009 I still have my special edition black dreamcast from years back. Had to do the controller port mod on it though (there's a flaw in the design that will fry the controller port board after X hours of X controllers playing through it). Quote
EdgeCrusher Posted May 3, 2009 Posted May 3, 2009 Used game/dvd store here sells used dreamcasts for 24 bucks. I should buy me another one. Quote
TheSnowStorm Posted May 4, 2009 Posted May 4, 2009 Yeah, a lot of folks have those unused warehouse Dreamcast that SEGA never release after SEGA lost their profits. If I had the money, I would buy one. I also want to emulate one but I don't know how much of a strain that would put on my computer. Quote
Red Shadow Posted May 4, 2009 Posted May 4, 2009 yeah if you want one of these youre probably going to have to sign up to be notified when theyre back in stock and be ready to buy one as soon as you get that email Quote
maniacodepressif Posted May 4, 2009 Posted May 4, 2009 The Chankast emulator works great for me, much better then the ps2 one, probably since dreamcast is built on windows CE. Quote
SynthesizedStampede Posted May 5, 2009 Posted May 5, 2009 Jeebus, I've always wanted to buy a Dreamcast but could never get myself to do so. I miss them all-night sessions of Power Stone 2 with my buds . Quote
Overflow Posted May 19, 2009 Posted May 19, 2009 Question about my dreamcast: I only got a coax output with it. Are there AV inputs available? Or maybe some kind of converter? Quote
