Final Fantasy: Mystic Quest

As a *game*, Mystic Quest failed horribly. However, just listen to the music; there is *so* much potential there for some mind-blowing remixes. The boss battle themes, and Lava Dome music are of particular interest, as I think they have a lot of meat for a skilled artist to work with.

Hm. I have a couple arrangements from FFMQ, as a matter of fact. Two of the boss theme. They were entries in some... Crystal, Square Music Arrangement Festival. Site was in Japanese, therefore I don't know anything about it, aside it was a music compo for Square game music in a strange time signature. The site had a TON of gems from old school Square games but sadly I dunno where the site is.

This game's music was designed to be awesome, that is, transcend the game's retardedness of crapulent plot and generally pwn.

If you haven't heard Homestar's Mystic Quest you are not worthy. Not that that's the only criteria, but it is one.

Which town? Cause i think there's a few different town bgm's. Such as Fireburg. I love the boss theme. I would do a remix of it, but my style is rock/metal. So it would end up being a cover of sorts.

Fireburg has the same theme as the other three towns, just a very different arrangement. I'm talking more about the more subdued, relaxing versions. I'd love to hear either a piano or acoustic guitar version of the music that plays in the other three towns (Foresta, Aquaria and Windia, I believe). Actually, there are two very slightly different versions of that (basically, different synth instruments) but they're substantially the same theme.
