Mootz
Just Downloaded SunVox yesterday and bled this out a few hours later. I am in love with the program and think that the sounds it produces are incredible. More people should use it it's free for Christ's sake! Pyrohazard
Hes right, SunVox is awesome! It seems a bit complicated at first, but it didn't take me long to start making a song. Even though I'm not very far on it I can still tell it was more or less fast and easy. As for the remix that was great. I actually get the same ambiance of the water theme but at the same time I feel like I'm in space. Good job.
Chernabogue
This sounds very good. I understand why you're in love with this program I really like the ambiance of the song, everything sounds cool. The only (little) problem is that it's a little too close from the original. Try to add some original parts and I'm sure it'll sound perfect! Good job! loomcore
Holy shit! Thanks so much for introducing me to SunVox! Also your remix is damned cool. Like Chernabogue says, make it a bit more your own and it'll be mint. Great job though
Mootz
Many thanks! I'll try to add a few of my own original touches. Yeah, Sunvox rules for cool, glitchy, atmospheric sounds.
ambient
I'm not familiar with the source, but this sounds good to me so far. Still, I am not crazy about that brassy lead.
No Escape
I can see where this mix is going. It's not bad at all, but needs a little work. The mix sounds heavy in the mid range ( it sounds echoey, borderline muddy) I can't tell if the low end is right, but I would guess it needs a little boost. Also, the mix is very loud, probably from the pronounced mid-range. It wouldn't hurt to add a little highs here (maybe between 8Khz and 13Khz). I would love to hear a little more variation throughout the comp as well. No real changes as far as I can tell. Again, it's not bad at all, just some ideas to consider. Rozovian
The glitchy stuff is cool, but on the whole this is too conservative for ocr, and there's clicks and looped samples/stale synth waveforms in here. And the bass is too loud. I don't mind the lead, it lends itself well to the underwater vibe of the source, but if you're aiming for ocr you gotta arrange it more.
