Fishy
I would describe this as a good idea, badly executed. Trippin' coal.
HoopyFrood
I'm steamed now. (no pun intended) I traded 7 of my coal and got a coupon for 25% off games published by Paradox. Of which the only game that seems remotely interesting to me is Magicka and even then I'm not that interested. Well it, along with 50% off coupons for any valve game and Bit.trip Beat are up for trade if anyone is interested.
kitty
I now have these to trade: Half-Life 2 E.Y.E. Divine Cybermancy 25% off Valve 50% off VVVVVV 50% off Supreme Commander 2 10% off Activision 33% off SaintsRow The Third 33% off Warhammer 40k Space Marine 50% off Batman Arkham Asylum
Nabeel Ansari
I have a 50% off Valve coupon, 50% off Frozenbyte coupon, and a 25% off Valve Coupon to trade for coal (or any goodies you think would make it worth my while).
Kenogu Labz
Maybe we should temporarily make a thread for trading Valve coupons and games, similar to the sell/trade topic, if anyone's willing to manage that... EDIT: Might as well drop my list here. Free: Killing Floor + Defence Alliance 2 Free: The Binding of Isaac + OST 50% off X3: Gold(box?) 50% off Left 4 Dead 2 33% off Red Orchestra
Brandon Strader
Well this thread is already sorta aimed at trading coupons and coal and such. It's just a matter of reading through to peoples' lists and offering to trade.

The Coop
If I was you, I'd keep and use the coupons for Divinity II: The Dragon Knight Saga and King's Bounty: Platinum. Those are some fun games with good longevity (especially the latter).

mickomoo
How exactly do you find these coupons? I feel like a noob asking this but yeah... >_<
Lyrai
Do the achievements listed on the Great Gift Pile page. Each day has a freebee that's either do somethign in Steam, or do something in a F2P game.
HoopyFrood
Well might as well reformat the list to make it easier to read. For trade I have; 50% off any Valve title 50% off BIT.TRIP.BEAT 25% off any Paradox title A copy of Grotesque Tactics: Evil Heroes. and I also have a Tribes:Ascend beta key that I have no interest in. (I can wait till it comes out to check it out) I am interested in that Monday Night Combat but, as you can see, I don't have much to trade. HoopyFrood
Sorry I guess I shouldn't have put the coal there. I'm thinking of holding on to it. I know my chances are slim but a man can hope.
Otakatt
I just got FlatOut for doing an achievement. I abhor racing games. >> So I'm trying to get it off my hands by trading it for a different cheapo game if anyone has anything to offer. Lyrai
This hat can only be randomly obtained as a prize from the Great Gift Pile during the Steam Holiday Sale 2011, via crafting 7 Holiday Coal or for earning achievements for the event. http://wiki.teamfortress.com/wiki/Ebenezer http://wiki.teamfortress.com/wiki/B.M.O.C. Brandon Strader
Lame. I wouldn't want to win a stupid tf2 hat for exchanging 7 coal or doing an achievement. That's almost as bad as getting, like, coal!
Lyrai
Well in one day I scored 4 games and one pack from this thing so uhhhh if someone gets either hat and doesn't want it, let me know. We can probably work something out.
Brandon Strader
I had like 5 coal yesterday, now I have 13... it's all I have gotten for every achievement. Either they've given out every gift possible or it's bugged. Oh well, I'm going to have a lot of entries into the final drawing.
Cecilff2
Don't think they aren't giving out coupons anymore. Got a bit.trip.runner 50% off yesterday for doing the L4D2 achieve.
Powerlord
Warning: Valve ran out of third-party prizes yesterday evening. Everything from now on will be coal, a Valve coupon, or a Valve game. Crafting coal still has a chance of crafting the B.M.O.C., Ebenezer, or Holiday Headcase TF2 hats.
Otakatt
Honestly surprised Steam's third party gifts lasted as long as they did. It's a shame so many exploited the system and the HIBs, else more people doing the achievements legit would have won actual games, but c'est la vie. My final haul is a bunch of coupons and a game I'm never going to touch. XD While it'd be nice to trade it for another cheap game I'd actually play I don't think I'm gonna get any takers on the Steam forum. So if you want any of this lemme know and I can trade it to you. Game: FlatOut 33% OFF Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 25% OFF Valve 50% OFF Valve 50% OFF Demolition Inc. 50% OFF Puzzle Agent 2 50% OFF Left 4 Dead 2 50% OFF Assassin's Creed II Deluxe 50% OFF Shadowgrounds Survivor And for the sake of curiosity, did anyone do the SMB achievement? I knew when I saw the first level it just wasn't going to happen for me. I am baaad at that game and still not done with it yet. ><
Brandon Strader
I was wondering how I suddenly, magically acquired a copy of Portal 2. And yeah I did the SMB achievement, I cheated and used the trailer to do it. I like the idea of the game but come on... a lot of the puzzles just turn you away from it, and the Christmas pack shouldn't have been something impossible that would bring you much sadness.
