AngelCityOutlaw
http://www.billboard.com/articles/news/1560534/slayer-guitarist-jeff-hanneman-dead-at-49 I was never much of a Slayer fan, but I do love metal and respect the influence Jeff and his band had on the genre. \m/
Garpocalypse
Crap ACO you just ruined my night completely. I grew out of Slayer what seems like a lifetime ago now but I was big into thrash when I was in highschool. Early Slayer had some of my favorite childhood metal moments. Still, I'm kinda surprised he made it as long as he did. I mean look at that picture of him.
LuketheXjesse
Hated hearing about this today, 80s thrash metal is a big influence of mine, and Slayer is no exception.
Brandon Strader
Sad news, I actually saw them live. They played a bit too long for comfort but were nevertheless awesome.
Magnetic Ether
I've never been into the band, but it's amazing seeing all the messages from people/groups on facebook saying how much he inspired them.
Argle
That's sad to hear. Never was a Slayer fan, but 49 is too young for anyone to go.
