Mustin
William Reyes and Tim Yarbrough, guitarists of The OneUps, have created a guitar duo they call The Altered Beasts. Mustin Enterprises, LLC., has just released their debut album, "Transfiguration." Featuring popular selections from games such as Super Mario 64, Metroid Prime, EarthBound, The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, and more, there's sure to be something you will enjoy. This album is licensed and is available on Loudr.fm (click cover above) and iTunes at: http://bit.ly/tabitunes. It will also be available in physical CD format exclusively from Fangamer.net in a few days. The boys had a CD release party last night. Here is a snippet of their EarthBound arrangement: Here is their video for Super Mario Bros. 2: I hope you enjoy it! The boys worked hard on this arrangements. I did the recording, mixing, mastering, and executively produced the record. My favorite is the Bossa Nova Sub-Castle. So nice. What's yours? The Coop
A band called "The Altered Beasts," with cover art quite reminiscent of that classic Sega arcade game, made a remix album which doesn't feature a remix from Altered Beast. ... I... um... ... **walks off mumbling** You know I was thinking the same thing... Only one SEGA remix too? Nintendo is over represented here. I... um... ... **walks off mumbling** Agreed, I recall there was an April Fools video a couple years back detailing all these awesome things that were never going to happen and one of them was an awesome Altered Beast one.... Still waiting and hoping.

I imagine you will do this already, but I would really appreciate it if you could update the thread when the physical cd drops. I want to support this project, but I want the actual cd. By the way, I just heard the sample tracks on loudr.fm, and the album sounds great! Thanks!
Arrow
Bought and listened. This album just oozes deliciousness. Really impressed all around on this one, and hoping to catch them in Jamspace next year or something to hear some of this live.

zircon
This is really really awesome. First game arrangement CD I've purchased in awhile. Amazing musicianship, and I love the styles. Reminds me of Django Reinhardt at times, mixed with Acoustic Alchemy's mellower stuff. Amazing.
