Why is it being on PC make it be killed by Capcom?

it's not the PC part

it's the mobile part

and that it's an online touch RPG (kinda like facebook games)

and like most games of this ilk that are released there, i'm guessing we'll never see it in english

it seems like a quick cash-in using the BoF name to me

kinda like Rockman Xover was meant as a quick cash-in using the Rockman name

yeah it had good music (as will this, hopefully), but that's about it

It doesn't look great so far, but we'll have to wait and see. AAA developers need to get into the tablet market more, so this is a good sign. The touch controls is also a good sign, instead of that crappy on-screen controller pad that most mobile RPGs want to use. I'll wait until there's gameplay videos before I pass any judgement.

I don't want a mobile game. I would enjoy a Vita game though. Will reserve judgement to see how the actual game plays. Mobile typically infers some type of shallow micropayment in-app-purchase type game.

Are those real translations?!?!

Besides the name I see no hint of it looking like a Breath of Fire title. The forest graphic feels right but the characters look so generic. The detail is nice while generic looking but I would never think BoF without the title.

As a very large fan of the series, I really hope for the best. Being available on a mobile platform doesn't kill it for me right away (unless it's Square Enix, in which case their track record dooms them to failure), so I'll keep my ear out on how this develops.

I read both the English and Japanese. Those translations are correct. I don't know that they sound quite that aggressive in Japanese though.

I am VERY disappointed about this. Square-Enix (or Tri-Ace?) did the same damn thing with Star Ocean!
