zircon Posted February 19, 2014 Author Posted February 19, 2014 Where do you stand on public domain stuff, e.g. traditional Christmas tunes (not jingle bells), classical tunes (Bach, Debussy, Tchaikofski etc), which are legally free to make and sell? I know OCR doesn't allow it, but no reason OC-Records shouldn't! No problem. Quote
zircon Posted February 26, 2014 Author Posted February 26, 2014 The question is posed, "Do VGM Soundtracks Add Substance to the Games they Come From?"? Derrit takes a look at Frozen Synapse and Dust to find the answer! ALSO - we have our first LIVE RADIO SHOW (& podcast) tonight at 9pm EST on 8bitx! http://8bitx.com/ Join myself, Will Strouse, and Larry Oji for a live chat and great tunes. It's gonna be fun! Quote
theshaggyfreak Posted February 26, 2014 Posted February 26, 2014 Awesome! I'll definitely jump into that. I hope to be a part of the OCR Records family someday. Quote
alrubedo Posted February 27, 2014 Posted February 27, 2014 Just sank some money into halc and Miearth's "When Late Becomes Early" and a few other albums and maaaan...My day is going to be full of tunes. Good ones. Quote
Eino Keskitalo Posted February 27, 2014 Posted February 27, 2014 I got the sampler, enjoying it. I also enjoyed the podcast. bustatunez' Final Showdown is what I believe is referred to as "freakin' epic". Kind of a shame the game itself never was completed, but at least the music survives. --Eino Quote

The Derrit Posted March 18, 2014 Posted March 18, 2014 still reeling from the response i've gotten since omegalodon was released on OCR! good stuff all around Would you be willing to talk more about that? It sounds like the makings of a good article. Speaking of which, halc interviewed on Overclocked Records! Quote

Brandon Strader Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 Speaking of which, halc interviewed on Overclocked Records! Awesome! I was wondering when remixer interviews was going to make a return... it's not through OCR specifically though (like under the People > Interviews tab) ... or is it a separate entity from OCR Interviews? Follow Overclocked Records on Twitter! @OCRecordsLabel Followed that the other day, who is the one tweeting it? Quote
