After rewatching some of the stages, I found where I did Polar Kamrous's stage, and I really liked the BGM in that stage. I didn't really 'get' how good it was back then, because at that point, well... I didn't even write music yet! I decided to look through the Mega Man Zero 2 soundtrack, and I figured out that that track was called 'Ice Brain'. It's such a catchy track, now that I hear it in 2015. Shariq finds this to be the best track in the game, IIRC! After 3 years of writing music with Zebra2, I finally bought a new synth called 'Serum' by Xfer Records (wait, it's not Zebra2?), so I really wanted to make a complex glitch hop-ish atmospheric ReMix using Serum (and Zebra2) to make plenty of new bass sounds (I was making this track at the same time as my Vampire Variations III track, so that's why I used Serum in both). I took the parts of the melody that I thought were the most catchy, expanded on their contour, and switched up the rhythm to take the track in multiple new directions, with ambience that hits you where it counts, big pads, ... big everything, really. It's dubstep like you've never heard it before!" DragonAvenger
Super fun and trippy, I've got no problems here. I can definitely see why you and Shariq like this source! Nice work. YES timaeus222
Gario
Great mix, solid arrangement. I enjoyed the Sonic SFX sprinkled throughout, even if I don't quite know why they're there. Source is there, and it has more than enough variation to make it one's own. A pretty easy pass, for me. YES timaeus222
DaMonz
Very nice! Sehr gut! Très bien! Etc. etc. I especially liked the subtleties in the backing harmonies, super clever work there. Sound design, arrangement, production, source usage... It's all easily over the bar. YES timaeus222
