kamoh Posted December 22, 2006 Author Posted December 22, 2006 Deadline passed. The Fall 2006 OverClocked Chess League Champion is... KEEGAN Thanks to Doulifee for the badge, and to everyone for a successful first run of the new format. I think that, with the proposed tweaks and everything, this is going to survive as the way things really should be in the OCRCL from now on. Below are the final final final standings for 2006. Quote
kamoh Posted December 24, 2006 Author Posted December 24, 2006 Bumping the thread cause I don't really want this thread to disappear in it's inactivity. Quote
salaxzar Posted December 25, 2006 Posted December 25, 2006 *bump* again, too bad my group was mia most of the time. Merri christmas everyone. Quote
damathacus Posted December 27, 2006 Posted December 27, 2006 Congratulatory remarks, all. Of course, I've won the only category that really matters. Quote
kamoh Posted December 27, 2006 Author Posted December 27, 2006 Is anyone still interested in the whole tri-series idea? Where three captains pick teams and then assign their players to do battle, and the team with the most points wins...only a one-week deal Quote

Rainman DX Posted December 28, 2006 Posted December 28, 2006 Who should captain? *cough, cough* me Quote
KeeganTheFox Posted December 29, 2006 Posted December 29, 2006 Who should captain? Not I. I'm a poor leader. I'm way better at the Hired Goon aspect where I just go out and do whatever I'm assigned. Quote
kamoh Posted December 29, 2006 Author Posted December 29, 2006 The Tri-Series thing won't happen for a little while, and it'll be a side-tournament. In the meantime, we return to regularly scheduled league play on Monday. Right now, I'm not sure exactly how I want the format to be - I've considered levels/experience (and even have the dynamic set up). I think that we'll have a permanent record on the docket, retroactive to week 1 in October, using 3-2-1-0 scoring. Anyways. Quote
JohnDriLLL Posted December 30, 2006 Posted December 30, 2006 if im on a team i want the team to be called The Rusty Buckets Quote
