zircon
http://www.soundsonline.com/Free-Virtual-Instruments-Sampler-Disc-pr-EW-D2.html 12 instruments total. The instruments are not stripped down from their normal form and there are some good ones in there. It comes with its own sampler so you don't have to worry about getting Kontakt or Gigastudio or anything like that. Enjoy! EDIT: IT'S DOWNLOADABLE BTW! Xerol Oplan
What kind of speeds are you getting? I'm stuck at 4k/s, which means it's going to take 170 hours to finish at the current rate.
Skrypnyk
I'm hovering just under 7 kbps. Although I was downloading a bunch of other stuff. oh very nice, i'll be getting this soon...i liked it the last time they did something like this. Getting it soon? Aren't you still on a 56k? DZComposer
Last time I ordered something from there, an identical looking disc to that one was in the shipping box. Perhaps I shouldn't have just set it aside.... I've since lost it, but I just ordered EWQLSO Gold pro XP yesterday and from the looks of it, they're gonna send me another one. All the more reason to be excited when that package arrives (though, admittedly, more so for Gold Pro XP. I just hope my HDD can handle it. 36 gigs )! Skrypnyk
when trying to load the samples in kontakt or kompakt, it keeps telling me they aren't registered and I should register them. Anyone getting the same thing/know any way around it?
zircon
DZComposer; this isn't the same sample disc as the one they were mailing before, it's a new one.

SnappleMan
Hey Zirc, you've tried all this stuff out yet? I'm wondering what that stormdrum kit is, is it a normal drumkit or some kind of special percussion?
zircon
No, I haven't gotten it myself. I have several of the component libraries to begin with.
Yoozer
It looks like Mirror 3 was a bit fucked and gave me CRC errors, so I'm trying Mirror 2 and it appears to work fine. Protip: wget for Windows.

zircon
Nah, it includes the Large Bodhran (a big ethnic drum) and the Heavy Kit (a GM acoustic drumkit). I have Ultimate Pianos but I haven't used it yet... sorry!
Yoozer
Hm, I'm getting the same errors about registration from Kontakt 2.0 as Skrypnyk, and the homebrewn Kompakt player (ug-ly! Jesus, I'm glad NI polished it up) isn't giving me any love and probably can't find where it should look for the monolithic samples. Oh well. Cozark
I got that disc about a month ago when I ordered from them. Haven't had any problems with it yet. I especially dig the QLegato violas.

Emura
Wicked find Zircon! Has anybody else gone through the checkout process and found that they want to charge you $22 for FedEx shipping? I can't find a "download" option or anything.
