  1. Happy New Year to you as well! From what I've heard it sounds like the project is in really good shape at this point!
  2. At the risk of tooting my own horn, I compose music for a card game called Sentinels of the Multiverse, and I'm also a member here at OC Remix. I'm working on on another OCR album right now, but I think it'd be really cool to hear some Sentinels music remixed by OCR members, if anyone is interested! You can listen to all the soundtracks on the Handelabra Bandcamp page (among other places): https://handelabra.bandcamp.com/ If you need anything to help you out, let me know!
  3. Sweet! I'm so glad that all the tracks have been claimed! I sent out a tweet about it about a week ago that got retweeted many times, so maybe that had some effect. Anyway, I'll keep plugging away on my track!
  4. I'd assume they would sign up if they wanted to become a part of it. Not sure if anyone took my tweet's offer up or not.
  5. I tweeted out that last post to see if there's anyone interested.
  6. Alright thanks for the clarification. I don't see a short source as a limitation, I just wanted to know the extent to which I can be creative with it.
  7. Cool thanks, that's what I had imagined. A couple more questions, if I may: 1. What is the policy regarding original material in the remix, such as original melodies not found in the source? 2. Are elements from tracks in the game other than the one we are remixing fair game as elements to add to our own? For example, if a reference to the main theme is mixed in at some point? Or would that be sort of stepping over into the territory of other mixers? I ask these because my source song is only 30 seconds so I'll need to be creative!
  8. Stems? Wouldn't that more-so be used for mixing? When I get music mastered, I am used to giving a single, mixed down track with 6db of headroom, and the mastering is applied to that. I'm OK with the idea, just surprised is all.
  9. Replied. Thanks!
  10. @Trism Hey! I know I've been quiet around here, but I'm really interested in the idea of joining in on another OC Remix album project! Last one I did was for FFIX: Worlds Apart (Memories of Dali). Other things that I've done can be checked out here, if sample material needed. I am not very familiar with Terranigma, nor its music, but I'm really digging the vibe in the track "Magic Rocks", and it looks like it's unclaimed as of yet. May I give it a shot?
  11. Hm, just realized that the lastest post before mine for this was on April 28... is this thing dead?
  12. If I may pop in out of nowhere here, I quite like this idea. I've always really enjoyed town themes in games. That's why I was delighted to have the track Frontier Village Dali for the FFIX album. Anyway, from the tracks currently listed, it looks like most are RPGs. Is that generally what we're going for here? I also had the idea of Professor Layton, but I'd have to think of an idea that works... I'll keep digging to see if there's something calling out to me.
  13. Great idea! I'd love to contribute to this. Go ahead and assign me some tracks!
  14. Hey timaeus222, thanks for the reply! I checked it out; it's mostly what I'm looking for, though may not have the distinct tone I'm thinking of. I'll be sure to keep an eye.
