This page serves as a live view of ReMix submissions and their place in the judging process. (Evaluations of rejected submissions & posted ReMixes are in Judges Decisions.)
Submissions are treated as completed works and judged as-is. However, if you need to revise an arrangement after submitting it, please notify the judges of the revisions (preferably by replying to your original submission thread). Keep in mind that this may delay the evaluation. Minor fixes that don't alter the arrangement itself (e.g. eliminating clipping, new encoding, fading out a track with an abrupt cutoff) are always acceptable.
When you see *TAG* on an accepted submission, it means that we need to apply the appropriate ID3 tags to the MP3 file in preparation for posting it. No action is required on your part.

Emunator: Y'all, I am dumb. I just had nearly a whole vote written up on this jnWake FFT track talking about production and sample quality... then I realized that the remix was still stuck at 0:00. I had been listening to the source the whole time and I just wrote a big critique of the mixing for Hitoshi Sakimoto.

Emunator: I was about to explain to Hitoshi Sakimoto how to EQ cut the lows out of his reverb send tracks and EQ more aggressively to avoid low-end rumble in his mixes
Emunator: and critique the quality of his sample choices
Emunator: both of which I actually think are pretty relevant but obviously, y'know... PS1 game.
