  1. Same here, this is also why I prefer cutscenes to be done with the in-game engine rather than all the pre-rendered crap first introduced by the PSX and still being used in games today. Dynamic stuff just adds a level of involvement to a game, even if it's small. In my view, Twilight Princess has excellent music, and the samples used are of high quality.
  2. http://www.ocremix.org/info/ReMix_Changelog Might wanna check there. If you're talking about Injured Hero's Blood, it was removed for mostly being a rip from the original track.
  3. Please tell me this means you have a clean sample of the DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH I can use for my cellphone. I need a new ringtone.
  4. It's actually a single two-sided plush(The tag should say enough) Shipping within Europe was rather reasonable, but I can see how it would be a problem for you since they ship from France. Also, there was a freebie Rabbid noteblock included.
  5. This fell into my mailbox today.
  6. Basically it means putting your music in the main iTunes playlist, hooking up the Shuffle, and letting it transfer the files to the Shuffle. This is also all you need to do. If you add or change stuff later on, synching again makes sure the changes exist on both your PC and on the Shuffle. The term synching(synchronizing) itself refers simply to making sure both have the same data on them.
  7. Do you have the original install files or an existing installation of Transport Tycoon Deluxe? If so, here's something nice: http://www.openttd.org Run the TTD installer if you haven't already(Might have to do that via a command prompt, this can be accessed by going to Start > Run > cmd), and follow the instructions on the OpenTTD site.
  8. User IDs aren't really needed, but they simplify the process of linking a remixer profile to a forum profile.
  9. Nope. However, the PAL Wii allows you to switch countries(Within Europe/Australia) to download games not available in your country.
  10. www.free-av.com Get Antivir. While it does nag you daily to purchase the full version, the free version protects you just as well against viruses(Full version includes other niceties) and is highly effective. As for firewalls, if you're behind a router with a built-in firewall you normally don't need a software one. Otherwise, XP's default firewall does a decent job, and you can find some more suggestions here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Personal_firewall
  11. Alternatively, if you run XP Professional(Or XP Home in safe mode) you can take ownership of the file/folder again. To do this: 1) Right-click file or folder and select Properties 2) Go to the Security tab 3) Make sure your account has sufficient privileges on the file. 4) Click Advanced and go to the Owner tab. You'll see the user accounts listed there, as well as the current owner. 5) If it's a folder, check the little checkbox that says "Replace owner on subcontainers and objects." 6) Click your own username, then click Apply.
  12. Last updated June 2004. It's even older than that, and I'm pretty damn sure I've seen a longer list before.
  13. 1.06B doesn't work, 1.06b might work. There's supposed to be a new version out that's fully Wii-compatible though. http://us.codejunkies.com/news_reviews.asp?c=US&cr=USD&cs=$&r=0&l=1&p=23&i=9055&s=8 The store page on the US site doesn't mention the version, and it can't be ordered off the UK site yet. And most shops that would sell it don't have the new one in stock yet as far as I can tell.
  14. Most of the code is still the same though, it's just the buttons that are a bit different(And as we continue the migration, some will change again)
  15. It'll be fixed eventually, and we'll most likely get the old smilies back. It's a minor thing though, so it's at the end of the queue. No. Avatars stay the way they are.
  16. A lot of work would be involved. In order to add this, the whole GC-mode bootup would have to be altered, and the new controls would have to be mapped to the GC controllerscheme somehow. Adding new controls or making another addition is a whole impossibility for the following reasons: 1) There's a whole lot of GC games out there, and a large amount of them is by some third party. 2) The GC games were never designed to be patchable, and adding a patch could be a bitch and a half to perform for most, if not all, of them. Patch size would also be pretty big for most of them.
  17. There's a setting in the options menu to shuffle by track, it works for any type of playlist(Made by yourself or made by selecting the album/artist) Anyways, I downloaded all the torrents released so far, made a playlist in iTunes for OCR tracks, and from the newer stuff I mainly download music from games I've played. When the next torrent batch comes out, I'll add those too. I don't use my iPod too often anymore though, I have a good CD player in my car.
  18. Hmm, your description sounds like it doesn't have to be and most likely isn't HDD failure. More like a power or motherboard issue, but your later post tells me it's not a power issue. If it's a dead mobo as I suspect, you can only send it to the manufacturer, nothing you can do. I'd advise against removing the HDD, especially if there's nothing on there you need, and the part isn't the reason it's not working. As far as getting data off a laptop HDD, you will need a converter for it since the connections are different. Alternatively, you can get an external HDD enclosure made for 2.5" disks and use that instead.
  19. At the moment, that's a low-priority thing. It will be fixed eventually.
  20. I like it, and you probably already know why.
  21. This doesn't work like you want it to work. The system's stuck in Gamecube mode if you do this, so you can't use any of the Wii's new technology.
  22. This post would be a bit better off in here: http://www.ocremix.org/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=91891 So I'm locking this. Also, producing merchandise costs money, and there's always the risk of products that just don't sell as well as expected. OCR's still a comparably small site, so there's currently more gain in low-risk merchandise like the shirts and hoodies.
  23. I've had this happen only once, and pulling out the power and plugging it back in also does the trick. And because I just keep posting links: http://shop.ubi.com/ubiart/ang/prdctpage_plush.asp I'm tempted to get one.
  24. Did some research on this, and there's a pretty good reason apparently. The original Japanese PC Engine release of R-Type only included the first half of the arcade, with the second half being released separately. However, the US and European releases of R-Type include the full game(Both halves) Japan will get both parts as separate games, while the US and Europe get a single game. More info on it here: http://www.nintendoworldreport.com/newsArt.cfm?artid=12624 In other news, I picked up Rayman: Raving Rabbids today and it's pretty damn entertaining and fun, even if it's just a bundle of (good) minigames.
  25. Quite a few spyware/adware variations can do this to keep themselves on your system. Might wanna add a virus scanner to your collection there. Also, try booting up the system in Safe Mode for scanning, because a lot of stuff won't get loaded in Safe Mode. Outside of that, check your HOSTS file for changes, the only line in there outside of the description should be 127.0.0.1 localhost The HOSTS file is located in C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\Etc and can be opened with Notepad.
