  1. Yeah! The Protricity version from Haunted Theme is great. Nice guitar and trumpets. Orchestra excellent! A thumb up.
  2. The opening Theme from Flashback is good. This remix is equally good. Very enjoyable and calm! Has repetitions. But the remix is good. Therefore, the repetitions are accepted for me.
  3. I tried to remove vocals in the Goldwave but failed. I wanted to listen this music without the vocals. Good orchestra/rap.
  4. Without comments again? Okay. I never knew of this game. I don´t consider this remix a GREAT stuff. But this is something amused. Another distraction. And also annoys... Half Thumb up.
  5. Hmmm... without comments?? Here I see the djpretzel evolution: 2000 - 'Phat Musashi' from Shinobi, is something modest/good. 2001 - 'Diddy Evolution'from DKC, good arrangement with guitar/pizzicato. 2002 - 'Love Hurts' from Sonic the Hedgehog, 2 Stage Theme nice/enjoyable. 2003 - 'Booster Tarantino' from Super Mario Rpg, great saxophone!! amused/excellent. 2004 - 'Consent (Make Me Dance)' from Revenge of Shinobi, good rhythm/nice "wah" effect. These are examples from djpretzel evolution. The improvement is clear. In 2005 I want to listen new changes in your work. The OCRemix creator, improve with the time. In the future, will make excellent works. Happy 2005 for everybody...
  6. I liked this jazz/mario/version. But has a small problem. This is not a Trio. Has 4 instruments in this remix: piano, flute, battery and "jazz guitar". Mario in piano, Luigi in flute, Toad in battery and Wario in "jazz guitar".
  7. Yes! The Ambient Gemini is good. The Blue Vision also. But Beneath the Surface is calmest and enjoyable. Great saxophone and nice guitar.
  8. I agree. Beautiful song. Absentee of repetitions. The Protricity version from "Enchanted Wood" is pretty and nice. Between 01:25 - 01:46 it is very pleasant for me.
  9. Hey this is not expected of a DKC Mix. I totally agree with Dave; it also reminds me of CotMM's music. I particularly loved when the beats decides to come in. These strings are expressing very interesting ideas; it sounds like a sad thing. I somehow enjoyed this stage and its music during my childhood. And this mix is no exception. I will play this track eventually when it comes to mind. Awesome.
  10. How pretty music! This work is very amused. I liked to hear this Great Plumber/Jazz!
  11. Yeah, Mr. Salzman! Your work is great, pleasant and amused.
  12. I don't mind the remix. It's not anything shocking or revolutionary, but not much is. It's okay to listen to, so I'm listening to it. It just won't become one of my staples. The majority has positive opinions. That is truth. But you are exaggerating. I for example, already had my negative opinions: Bomberman 'Bomberfuzz', Bomberman 3 'Bomb Factory', Super Mario Bros. 'frivolous funk', Donkey Kong Country 2 'Brambly Rivers'... Moreover is important to know that nobody criticizes one remix without intention. Therefore I find that you must think more... I don't see what it is you think I'm exaggerating here. Any time someone posted a negative opinion of this track, someone else criticized them, and even criticized their reasoning for not liking the mix. There is nothing there to be exaggerated. I agree that most of the opinions are positive, and never disputed that. As for the last thing you said, I don't actually understand what it means. Not in the sense that I'm stupid, but in the sense that English is not your first language. If you could clarify it, that would be nice. At the moment, it seems like you're suggesting that people who didn't like the mix had ulterior motives. Which I doubt is what you meant. No, Man! I did not criticize you. Your opinion can be negative or positive in a remix. I only cited some examples for you. Examples you to think: here people exist who can express negative opinions in one remix. I said that you exaggerated because wrote "What on earth is going on here? People can't express a negative opinion any more?" Yes! The English is not my first language. But I understand what you says. And my English is equally understandable. The English/Australian is different. Distinct of the American or the British. This does not make difference for me. This is bad for you? Bah. I don´t worried. The discussion finished for me.
  13. I don't mind the remix. It's not anything shocking or revolutionary, but not much is. It's okay to listen to, so I'm listening to it. It just won't become one of my staples. 14. The remixer transforms the original. However has always preferred, maybe not the better. But preferred. The popular people not judge the perfect, however the good. Therefore, the opinions vary between the people.
  15. I appreciated this dynamic melody. The orchestra is pure and brilliant. For me 01:38 up to 02:04 the melody is very diversified. This remix has a powerful energy. The arrangement is excellent. This is a Chrono Trigger remix. But the work is very great. This seems a good movie music. Nice Work,Gray!
  16. I liked Yoshi's island. This remix is very good to the ears because that is calm and pretty. The harp is pleasant. The piano also. These remixes of McVaffe are excellents !
  17. The piano sounds well. This music is greatly calm. Our ears need musics thus. Good job!
  18. Good Jazz. I like saxophone. The trumpet are pleasant and great. In 2:56 up to 3:00 I perceived a "Christmas trace" in this remix. Nice work!
  19. Oh, yes! The Saberwolf Theme! I do not hesitate. The arrangement of this piano is genuine. How to explain that its sound touches the soul? Cheap imitations not touch in the soul.
  20. The Bomberman voice confuses me in respect of this remix. For me it passes an ackward message. Fuzz is a good remixer, but this voice annoys me!
  21. And some things like that were said by the judges. What it seemed to come down to was whether or not production was more important than heart. I was never really trying to be a guitar virtuoso or to make it a spotless, flawless playing. Any of the delays in timing are mostly due to human emotion of playing. You don't typically get that with technical sequencing. I was looking for more of the natural live performance feel. But thanks for the comments, everyone. Songs that get on ocr go on here forever.I don't think its justifyable to post a flawed song when it could be retooled and resubmitted. No justification whatsoever. Thats the problem here. Now I see errors in this remix. The decision really was difficult: 6 "YES" / 5 "NO". That is pleasant to the ears. But the errors justify an improvement in the work.
  22. Hey! This is a new Protricity stuff. I like this game. This remix remembers the original. Protricity commands an orchestra. This remix is your great work.
  23. Oh, yes! The forest Theme. This remix is very reflective. Is very inspired and sly. I liked this stuff. I heard this some times. "Goo goo g'joob".
