  1. My printing run was for 300 physical copies - but that also doesn't include CD Baby and iTunes. :3
  2. *bump* Sorry to double post, but I wanted to let you guys know that all physical (PayPal) copies are now temporarily backordered. They will be restocked on or before June 12th, but if you order in the meantime I'll send you a complimentary digital download. Sorry for the inconvenience...
  3. (I will kidnap you, Doug. Actually... I'm coming home this week starting Saturday. Any chance we could do what we did that one time and meet up? Any Boston friends to visit?) EDIT: (Oh wait, I am a Boston friend!)
  4. Wow, it's still in there? Boooooo. In other news, YAY! We need yur votes now! Just 48 hours before the finals begin. My track is called "Avalon," and it's in New Age/World.
  5. Yes, for people coming a greater distance we can host them starting Friday night. :>
  6. OverClocked ReMix presents... Philly Meetup: Episode III Starring: YOU Where: Philadelphia, PA (and surrounding area) When: Saturday, June 28th 12:00 noon at 30th Street Station (main concourse, by the info desk) What: Alright, so this year we have an idea for what could be a reaaaaaalllyyyy fun meetup. The Manayunk Arts Festival will be happening on this date. It's a very popular annual event in Philadelphia, not just for art, but for food and music as well. Sounds nice, right? But there's more! As I was looking up the location on Google Maps to see what kind of public transportation would be available, I found this: Brethren of OverClocked ReMix... Fate has called us to the Manayunk Pretzel. It is literally right where the R6 (regional rail) lets off, and two blocks away from the festival. I think this may potentially be the best photo opportunity this community has ever seen. So yeah, plan would be to meet up at 30th Street Station in Philadelphia first, because it's the big hub for Amtrak and the regional rails. As soon as everyone is gathered, we can hop on the R6 to Manayunk ($3.50) and enjoy the food and festivities for the afternoon. Once we head back to 30th Street Station in the early evening, folks can either head home or hop on the R5 ($7 and 15 minute ride) with zircon and myself to Ardmore. We have a nice new apartment, great flat screen TV, Wii, Xbox, PS2, and a grill... so BBQ and games will ensue! And this can also be extended to a sleepover if people are interested. As José put it, breakfast the next morning of a meetup is the best part! There is an IHOP just a five minutes' walk from our place. So whaddya think? To help get an idea of what kind of food to buy for the BBQ, please post about whether you'll make it to that part of the meetup, and also if you'd like to sleep over! Part 1 (Manayunk): zircon pixietricks Xerol Bahamut djpretzel Anna José the Bronx Rican Palpable Amy Escariot Dominique Dyne Sporknight Katsurugi Kroze & girlfriend Xenon Odyssey HydeGFF Part 2 (BBQ): zircon pixietricks Xerol Bahamut djpretzel Anna José the Bronx Rican Palpable Amy Escariot Dominique Dyne Sporknight Katsurugi Kroze & girlfriend Xenon Odyssey Kulaman HydeGFF Part 3 (Sleeeeeeepover) Ardmore: zircon pixietricks djpretzel & Anna, Palpable & Amy, and Xerol (all carpooling together Friday night) Bahamut (arriving Friday night) José the Bronx Rican With Kroze: Kroze & girlfriend Sporknight Escariot, Dominique, and Geoffrey Taucer (all carpooling together; have to leave before the group breakfast on Sunday to get Tauce to his next destination) Xenon Odyssey Kulaman And anyone else that may join up between now and June 28th! Anyone driving up Saturday morning is still welcome to park for free at our place in Ardmore if they arrive by 11:00 am at the latest. There's also parking in the city, but it'd probably be easier (and obviously cheaper) to do it in our lot.
  7. At this point, we're all just trying to make it to the Top 10. Avalon is at #2 again now, which is a pretty safe bet! The Winds of Change is still under the Top 10, though.
  8. Haha, there's a really awesome a capella track in Contemporary/Soft Rock... but... why? It's doo-wop - a 50's/60's genre. How is that "contemporary"? And it's definitely not soft rock...
  9. My radio promotion team doesn't target college stations, and I'm already sparing 150 free copies for this purpose. But nothing is stopping you from buying the album and showing it to them! You have my permission to burn it for the station if you were to do so. EDIT: I should clarify. If it is a reporting station (to ASCAP or New Age Reporter, specifically), I could certainly send them a promo copy. I think there are few college stations out there that actually do that, though.
  10. Let me know when you get it! International shipping is always a nail-biter.
  11. Wow, that's unbelievable. What is wrong with people? Yikes! It may help to expedite the process if you send a PM to Daniel Palmer, Audix. He is pretty good about these things.
  12. Yeah, could be. But if more OCR people vote, it won't matter!
  13. I've been doing this as hobby since high school. Here are a few samples - some portrait, some landscape.
  14. It's the top 20. You were so close, soc! Keep at it.
  15. Dangit, our stream was so bad. We couldn't really record it... Anyone have better luck?
  16. Ooh, is it possible to record with RealPlayer?
  17. That link you posted above is actually for last week's show, on the 18th. He already played "Hajime"! But there may be more tonight, too. :3
  18. Thanks for providing that info, Happy Pyro. Jamey of the Audiosyncracy NPR program reports that he already played "Hajime" on last Sunday's show. I think there will probably be more this week too, considering he said he's in love with the album and wants to give it "heavy spinnage."
  19. I assume you're Tim from the Netherlands, Razzy? I will ship out your CD tomorrow! Just got back from my graduation (where I had no internet), so it was just a slight delay. :3 Brad: I am also not in the Southwest area, and how does one record off the radio anyway? Tips, anybody? In other newsssss... Looks like I am going to have to do another run of printing. I'm close to sold out for the physical copies I originally had made! @_@
  20. If you guys are going to be back, do you think you could do VGDJ again? There is a thread about reviving it, but so far only one person (brushfire) has expressed interest and he wanted to change the format to a one-man videocast. I think it might make more sense for you two to pick it up instead if you can come out with regular shows. We've been waiting for some serious interest to come along! Now that I'm out of school, Andy and I were talking about at least doing VGDJ podcasts for special events like Otakon, Magfest, VGL etc - but neither of us would have time to do something weekly. Maybe you two can revive the weekly (or bi-weekly) report and just have some guest shows for the American events those of us are able to attend. Eh eh? EDIT: Back home and listening now. Aurora: I actually did the production and editing myself, until the end when Andy and I split the work (literally each of us edited half of each show). It took SOOOOO much time. :3
  21. Brad: If you're in New York, I don't think you'll get the program. It's for NPR in the Southwest region. But just in case, it'll be on Sunday night!
  22. Just to keep you guys updated, I had an interview this week on a really cool internet radio station called Mystic Soundscapes, where I won the Best of 2007 Award for "Hajime." "The Secret Guards of Kalé" is apparently already listener-rated #6 out of their entire roster for the month, just weeks after Origins came out! Pretty cool. You can listen to the interview here: http://radiomystic.com/netcast/031.asp Additionally, my music is going to be played on an NPR program called Audiosyncracy, as well as the podcast under the same name. The radio show has a listener base of 700,000... so this is a big step for me!
  23. No, you can't take my place... even on your birthday! But happy birthday anyway. :B
