when you show me how the pressures of writing a new episode every week for a tv show with immense ratings = software development then i will care about your petty feelings being hurt by noone paying attention to what you do and you not getting the 'credit' you deserve

The game itself is fine. The thing I don't like about it is when people think that it is superior to the actual guitar...so in a sense, I don't hate the game, I hate people. Ya, that sounds about right.

PSI Rockin is better anyways because of the different levels you learn for the ability. Sure, Star Storm is pretty powerful, but it kind of lacks that BOOM that PSI Rockin had. Plus, Ness never went through Mu training.

That would be a good idea, but DJ P would have to research which one of the many charities he wishes to have shown along with Child's Play. ...of course, if DJ Pretzel wanted, we could make our own little charity. I mean, we ARE a huge site that gets insane hits everyday and is known around the world, so I don't see why it would be hard to create one and have the word spread around. Too bad this most likely will ever happen

Not going to happen. Seriously, that would not happen. That would require wayy to much work. Also, money is on Ness being an assist trophy.

also the kirby super star remake definitely looking forward to that more than this game

Regardless of what item the money is going to, only a certain percentage of the donations should go to that while the majority goes to research. That way it has more of a balance. I am going to research this really quick and see how much of the funds are going into each.

True, but at the same time the money spent could be used towards research trying to cure the disease that the child may be suffering from. Do NOT get me wrong here. I believe giving a child happiness before he/she passes on is something noone can hate on, EVER, but when it comes to that versus donating money to researchers who are digging daily into so many things that might cure the disease so future children do not suffer from it, my money is going to go to the latter.

THAT is what Child's Play is about? I thought it was gamers showing that we also have "souls" by donating to good causes so that negative stereotypes could not be made about us. I really should have read into that more when I first heard about it. Donating a game to a child is stupid when, as you said, you could donate to save their life.

Take the criticism from those that have formed names for themselves and absorb it. If it is harsh, it is harsh for a reason. The best thing for an artist is criticism. It is what points out just what they need to work on in order to have something phenomenal. People would always rain on Skrps parade, but he took it and kept working at his stuff, and now he is a posted remixer. Being brutally honest is what takes people out of their "happy bubbles" and brings them down to what is going on, making them realize just how much something needs work on. I hate to make it this sound "elitist", but I would listen to those that have formed more of a presence here at ocremix, like skrypnyk, and take in what they say when it comes to criticism more than anyone else here, because they know what it takes to have their mix posted. And dude, Skryp was NOT being rude to HoboKa in the least. Lurking here for years, I know when someone is being rude to someone else, and he wasn't doing that at all. Skryp was just letting him know that inflating your ego about this mix was only going to bring you down lin the long run. Also, noone was vulgar at HoboKa dude. What people said to him are compliments and blessings compared to what others do here to people when they are not liked. I am happy that you are being open minded about what is being said about your song from others besides HoboKa. I have been noticing that people, not just on ocremix, haven't been taking criticism pretty well, and flip out at the slightest mention of their art *be it artwork, literature, or music* being bad. Anyhow, just keep at it, take what people like Skryp and others who formed names for themselves around here say and learn from it and all will be good.

Captain Falcon has a far better chance of being in the game than Ness ever had. Captain Falcon does not have a playable character representing his series yet, while Earthbound has Lucas. With Lucas being playable, you had to figure that Ness was probably going to get shafted...that or becoming an assist trophy.

The point of me posting that chatlog was just to say that it is kind of odd to have your own SPC show different song names for a source tune when comparing to the name of the source tune that is on the song. Sure enough, Ferret was right about the source tune being mislabeled. I know that not all the games are like this, but it is kind of annoying not being able to match the name of the source tune to the SPC file that is hosted on this site (remember, I said KIND OF). Maybe we should have that song identification thread Larry made last where we identified the official source tune name for sources that were remixed recreated? We could have it where we could identify source tunes AND find mixes *or in this case the source files that were downloadable on this site* with mislabeled source tunes and get them with the right name. Thoughts?
