This is a very solid remix. Don't see any "Oscar-quality" in it though...

This remix is so beautiful, and I don't understand what's the problem with the key changes. To me they sound perfectly natural, and serve to give the piece a more dramatic feel. The one at 1:31 sort of "wakes you up" after a rather dreamy section, and the one at 1:57 indicates some action is going to take place. Of course, changing key can seem a rather "lazy" way to make transitions between different parts of a piece, but in cases where it's executed with such skill as in this song I don't see why it should be a problem.

I've listened to this song at least 10 times in a row now and I just can't stop. It has a soft and dreamlike, yet majestatic, feel to it, and it gives it a depth typical songs with more grandiose chord progressions and melodies can not really achieve. That's not to say I don't love that kind of music as well, but this song has something special to it. I simply love this piece of music. Some parts of this song make me think of Max Steiner's music.

D.O.W.N.L.O.A.D.I.M.M.E.D.I.A.T.E.L.Y. Seriously, this could have come from an arranged Final Fantasy soundtrack. It is just awesome. The transition to smooth jazz at 1:54 and what comes after it is simply jawdropping.

You have some serious talent boy The parts where you sing "and maybe someday both of us will see" and the one from 5:02 to 5:24 are sung with so much feeling I can seriously consider you one of the singers with the best potenital I've ever heard. There are still things you need to polish, but with time you can become a huge singer.

I have to disagree with Jared Hudson on this one. Of course, as a remix there isn't very much originality to this song. But let's face it... Some songs just deserve to be remixed more or less the way they are, so that the full potential of the song in question can come into blossom. By the way, if I don't mistake myself I think can hear some pretty original parts as well. From around 4:00 and onwards things seem pretty new to me. The technical talk just sounds like a conscious attempt to find faults in a more or less perfect arrangement. Of course there are things that could have been done better, but the overall quality of this remix still remains jawdropping. Of course, this has a lot to do with the original work upon which it is built. But as I said earlier, some songs just deserve to be remixed more or less the way they are, so that the full potential of the song in question can come into blossom. And that's precisely what Jeremy Robson has done with this remix. Kudos.
