I'm not saying that Zelos' story isn't interesting, or that he doesn't add to the game. I simply found his manerisms, outfit, habits, etc. extremely annoying. Also his voice, but most characters in that game had annoying voices. I haven't yet had the pleasure to play Phantasia. Was it as good as Symphonia?
-
YES Zelos gets knocked so much in favor of Kratos. But I actually liked Zelos more than Kratos, and his affection storyline and events are much more interesting. But if it's anyone, it'll probably be Lloyd. Or Cress from Phantasia. NO I don't care about his storyline or any of that, Zelos was ANNOYING. Besides the fact that it is unlikely to see ANY character from ToS in SSBB, I would think the two most likely candidates would be Lloyd and Colette (and yes, I do believe that Colette would be an interesting character). Though Presea would be a fun character, too.

Sheesh, is Path of Radiance the only FE game anybody here has played? Why not give some love to Sacred Stones and the original FE GBA? I would love to see Lyn on there (think Sheik...with a sword), and especially Hector (think Ganondorf...with an axe). Or how about Ephraim and Eirika from SS? It would be awesome to play with Ephraim's lance! The other interesting thing would be to have a high-level mage with little/no physical attacks (Pent Pent Pent Pent Pent ). So, in short, here's my version of the list: Bowser Baby Bowser Captain Falcon DeDeDe Donkey Kong Dr. Mario Ephraim Falco Fox Ganondorf/Aghanim Hector Ice Climbers Jigglypuff Kirby Link Luigi Lyn Mario Marth Metaknight Mewtwo Mr. Game & Watch Ness Lord Pent Pichu Pikachu Pit Princess Peach Ridley Roy Samus/zero Suit Samus Snake Sonic Young Link Wario WW Link Zelda/Sheik Final Count: 37 Characters I changed the key a little: Black are characters from SSBM. Blue are known 1st/2nd party additions. Red are known 3rd party additions. Indigo are 1st/2nd party suggestions. Orange are 3rd party suggestions.

Utterly and completely false. http://www.codenamerevolution.com/?p=809 http://translate.google.com/translate?u=http://www.livewii.fr/news/9350/Des-nouvelles-tetes-pour-Super-Smash-Bros-Brawl.html I think it might be true... I'm sad about Mr.G&W EDIT: Well NEVERMIND. I did some more "research" and found out some dude made it up or something I don't understand why people are still saying that this is "semi-confirmed" or even "true". More info from Kotaku.

ICE CLIMBERS NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!! Good thing it's false. Although, Young Link is a pretty likely character to go. Don't know about G&W.

That's what they're doing with Zero Suit Samus, or at least what they've hinted at. It would be awesome, if not COMPLETELY imbalanced, if Ganondorf could turn into Ganon. Maybe for the special upgrade item. Diddy/Dixie sounds fun to me. I'm kind of afraid because everyone seems to want Diddy Kong, but he'd totally suck as he is. Also, why all of the hating on Pichu? It makes me sad . Pichu is probably my current favorite, though I'm not terribly good with him. I actually think he is better than Pikachu, but that's just me.

Not to be a jerk or question the modders' authority or anything, but I really think this stuff would've been better left in the other thread. It could've been expanded to include other sections, and it's just going to clutter this thread with a bunch of pictures.

Wrong game!! Super Mario RPG was the Square game. SE had nothing to do with the Mario and Luigi games. But if they did add Geno and Mallow, that would be pretty awesome. With that said, I really don't care who they add, as long as they are kinda cool. Make them memorable. I would really like to see the twins from FE:SS and just have them replace Marth and Roy or something. A spear user would be pretty cool in that game. Ike could replace either of them too. If you really want a character with a spear, and you really want a character from a Final Fantasy game that's already been on a Nintendo system, I can't think of a better option than Kain. Well, maybe Edgar. No, best yet--Mog. I believe he was mentioned earlier in this thread, too. Yes, let's compare and contrast Mog and Edgar. Both can wield spears. Edgar's autocrossbow would be sweet, and his chainsaw spin would rule. Mog has about twenty different dance moves, including an avalanche and an ice slide move. Edgar thinks he's a hit with the ladies in the game. I think Mog would be a hit with the ladies in real life. My vote goes to Mog. The more likely option for a character with a spear is Ephraim from Fire Emblem: Sacred Stones. That quiz said I use Ness/Yoshi-->I haven't used either for over a year.

I personally like all of the stages in ssbm, at least a little. I love to pick stages that everyone else hates so that they're mad at me .
-
Why would they bother putting tons of third party characters in Brawl when there are SO MANY MORE NINTENDO CHARACTERS? I mean, seriously, they could use any of at least a dozen Fire Emblem characters now that it has become more popular, they can use more Earthbound characters (maybe even Mother 3 characters), and they've already added 5 new characters. They've also introduced 2 new franchises which will likely see a character in Brawl (Disaster and Project H.A.M.M.E.R.). How many characters do you people want? P.S. I like the sir nuts idea though .

I don't think anyone has posted this yet.

Fixed. Follow your own advice. Also, of course there are characters that haven't been revealed yet. Were any of the unlockable characters for SSBM revealed before the game was out? I have a strong feeling that the five new characters shown will not be unlockables: they will be standard characters. This is just a feeling, though. I just don't think that they'd reveal *secret* unlockable characters this far before launch.

Wow... that was like an episode of Dragonball Z for a few mintues there. I actually did this today with some friends. It was amazing fun .

That comment could not have been gayer even if it had been about drinking tea at a rose garden in San Francisco during the gay pride parade while courting a person of the same sex by quoting Beaudelair with lisp. LOL!!! Edit: Also, no SSB3 at the press conference .

As is Peach. When she pulls out a saber on a no-items match, everyone runs . I personally can say that tiers only really matter in high-level tournaments. I used to think I was good at this game when I played my friends. Then I came to college, and there's one kid here (undoubtedly the best player that I've met) who can beat me with practically any character (he has trouble with Ice Climbers, just because he never plays as them). It's fun to be Pichu and actually do really well. It's also fun to be Pichu or Kirby and annoying everyone by running away and taunting .

SUPER DUPER Giant Melee Giant Melee Damage at 2.0 Items on medium: Super Mushroom and Bunny Hood After that finish the rules on your own. SUPER DUPER Lightning Melee Lightning Melee Damage at .5 Items on medium: Super Mushroom, Poison Mushroom and Bunny Hood SUPER DUPER Sudden Death Super Sudden Death Damage at 2.0 Items on Very High: Bob-ombs, motion sensor bombs, and green turtle shells I enjoy enhancing the modes that are already there .

Sounds like fun. Now replace "2 players" with "4 players" and replace "Lightning Melee" with "Super Sudden Death" and I'd be in .

I wonder if this is the longest quote about SSBM ever. I wonder if this is the least readable post ever. As for most memorable moments, here are a few: - My friend smashed me off the edge, then threw a Barrel Cannon at me which literally saved me (I would have died) - When coming back onto the stage, I pwned someone in the face with the hookshot so they couldn't hit me (small achievement, but it got a lot of laughs) - Using the battle cry "Call me Betty!" just before obliterating my friend (for those who don't get the reference-->Kung Pow) I don't play so much for the wins, I play more for the fun.

Funny, I just got done playing some ANTI-projectile mode today: we used only characters without weapons/projectiles, and no items. I'm just waiting to see the new one, but I do hope there are a few new characters. Here are some suggestions: - R.O.B. - Diddy Kong - There will undoubtedly be at least one new pokemon - Someone from the Fire Emblem games from GBA, preferably Hector (He's got an axe...which is sweet) or the brother from Sacred Stones (I SO want to play with his lance............that sounded SO wrong...........) - I also think it would be cool, though unlikely, to have a mage from FE. Magic FTW.

Good song. I have no specific complaints about this song, but it just isn't really my style. I loved the subtle string work (or maybe it was sax? I'm not good at picking out instruments) in the background, and it is a fun piece, but for some reason I can't really get into it. Keep up the good work! 6/10

OCR01471 - Chrono Trigger "Chronodyne Marine"
G_D replied to djpretzel's topic in ReMix Reviews & Comments
I also agree that the synth guitar could use some work; either a more clean sound or a more fuzzy sound. As it is, the arrangement is great, and I love the background bass/percussion. The guitar just seems to stick out funny in comparison with the rest of the song. Great stuff! 7/10 -
I know it as 'Opening Theme: Bombing Mission' or Bombing Raid or something like that, but I don't know if that's the official name. I don't know if there's a remix planned for it or not, but there should be. Good song. Edit: I don't know if there is a current remix either, though you could look. It would be under Final Fantasy 7 (if you don't know how to navigate the site, there is an alphabet in the top right corner; just click on the 'f'). Actually, I think 'Beyond Midgar' might be that song...but I'm not sure.

OCRA-0006 - Chrono Trigger: Chrono Symphonic
G_D replied to Claado Shou's topic in Album Reviews & Comments
This was an excellent project, and all of the songs were great! The only complaint that I have is that it seems like the main theme was mixed into just about every song, which got a little old. Also, I noticed a couple songs mixed in there that I already had...Blue Skies Over Guardia is the one that I can remember...but that's ok . Overall, though, I really liked it. -
This is probably my favorite song. Ever. I absolutely love it!!! I honestly don't understand why everyone seems to hate the kick. No, it doesn't fit with what we know of orchestral music, but it is still awesome. I love hearing people mix different sounds and instruments with orchestral work, and I think that it really worked well in this song. In fact, I love the kick so much that I want more of it. MORE KICK!!! It actually made me want to buy a bigger subwoofer for my car. Besides, without the kick, this would just be another Ghosts of the Marble Hall. Honestly, if you want a good orchestral work then listen to that one, but I personally think this one is better Awesome song Nixdorux!
