Nice work so far. But, I wonder why every Banjo-Kazooie remix Ive heard so far, none of them seem to be any serious? Don't get me wrong, good work so far. But they all always have weird sound effects, or strange little things... you know? They're all... silly. Not that thats a bad thing...

I was talking about the fact that I would need the MIDIs, to tell the difference between jingles, actual tracks, short things... whatever. A 12-second bit can be made into a track, if done good enough.

I take that back. Sleepy Emp, it's still good, but it's lacking. So far, it is repetitive, and can be a bit boring. It has very interesting parts, but they are all done similarly. It needs variety, and bad. As in-game boss music, it would fit very well, but as a track, it needs work. Still good, though.

You bet your ass we are. But don't worry, we'll end up here sometime soon. A week's up, and thats all anyone has for General. But, I would like to say, big thumbs up on the project altogether. While I haven't listened to any of your WIPs yet, I can say I expect good things. Too bad it doesn't stop everyone, including myself, from asking where all the pokemon mixes are in ReQuests. The only things left to say are, you'd better pull off Gary's theme right, as we are now in direct competition, and if you see Cerrax, head him my way.

Yeah, sure. If you're a guitarist, it can only mean good things. I mentioned this a few pages back, and a few pages before that, but more than one of Sephiroth's themes would be included, because of the amount of times Squeenix has redone it themselves. Jenova's theme and Bizzaro Seph's theme would both count. One idea a friend of mine had an idea, to do the whole thing all Marilyn Manson -y, with crazy ass, demonic latin lyrics, that no one would be able to understand, in that gutteral, demonic voice. You know what I mean? If not, well, the choice is yours, not mine. Sleepy Emp, that was amazing. Thats all I can really say. Downright incredible.

Man, I don't know what to be rooting for. Of course, a career is more important than OCR, but I guess, if it means the best, you wont be participating with this thing.

Speaking of which, I'm thinking of sending out a second WIP notice. Some people, I haven't gotten anything yet, and 2 (Cerrax and Dewcandy) haven't even checked their inboxes yet. I get Dewcandy, considering someone with only 1 post isn't likely to make frequent appearences back at the forum,or possibly be reliable at all, but Cerrax, well, I've tried PM's and email. Nothings working. And, talking about people who seem to make unnecessarily long, frustrating disappearances, has anyone heard from Kanjika? I think... If he doesn't show up soon, he's not only no longer co-coordinator, but off the project alltogether. I really don;t want to do this, because I really do expect to see good things from him. *Sigh*..., oh well. I will send out a new WIP notice to those who haven't posted anything yet. Hopefully, kicking anyone off the project wont be necessary. On the other hand, it opens up the position for anyone who's a bit more reliable. And some of you might want to keep an ea out, you don't know if I might be taking on a new co-coordinator in the coming week.

I think at this point, we wouldn't start it for a few months anyway. I say, lets stay here for awhile, asking around, getting ideas, but not doing any actual work. If my current project is a succes, Ill work on this one.

Yeah, I understand. But take leepmeister, for example. He can't do anything until he gets his guitarist at thanksgiving. So, till then, suggestions for improvement are the best anyone can do. Now, Im not saying you have to put WIPs on that forum, at least until you get them in normally. If you dont have yours done yet, dont sweat it.

Why would anyone expect anything else? On par? No... Better! Thats what every current project should be aspiring to. Better than all the others, added together. No one hopes for a project thats worse then another one.

... Wow, supporters already. Well, if this is going to work, there are a few steps to take. First, find the tracklist, including all the levels, maybe a bonus stage, any general, re-occurring music, whatever... If you need quality mixers, I would also recommend contacting EVERY mixer that was on Kong in Concert, save Protricity. What exactly happened to him, anyway? I've heard a few different things. Mostly, being slapped with a permanent ban on several sites. But I do have to say, "Minecart Misadventure" blows my mind. After that, contact any mixers that are your favorite. Go listen to about 100 mixes (Seriously), all from different mixers, and shave it down to about 20. But, keep the list, in case you get any rejections. Contact who you think are those best artists, and pray for a response. After all that, make a new thread here in ReQuests, but contact me first. In fact, contact me anyway, just to discuss the thing.

You know, I have the same problem. No one seems to understand that if there are open tracks, then OF COURSE more mixers are going to be signed on. Why does no one ever seem to get that?

Uhh... the good part?(The xylophone, mostly) And, thats Sector X from Starfox 64, not sector X from the SNES one, OK? I'm looking forward to it. I don't know what your planning, but I know that if it's got Starwolf, it's gonna kick ass. By the way, music from Venom would count towards Andross's theme. And leepmeister, I CANT WAIT!! GET THE GUITAR IN ALREADY!!! While it's never a good idea to rush things, I really, really want to hear it, almost to tears. Its going to be amazing, I can tell. Every album has one or two tracks that really stand out, and I can tell, if things keep heading in the right direction for you, this is going to be one of them. ... Which is just more incentive for everyone else to work harder. Not that they aren't doing good, but, MAN, is it good so far. Work on the guitar, already!
