Terranigma was about sacrifice and resurrection - it's probably filled with biblical references as well, but I suck at pulling references from memory. If you haven't played it, I'd recommend doing so, cuz it will blow almost all of Chrono Trigger's themes out of the water =p (still love CT don't get me wrong) And the ending will definitely mind-fuck you =p

Yeah not many other forum devs would've put up with as much as these guys have lol. And yeah I think they do give us all a chance to grow. I know it's taboo to open old wounds and such, but... Seeing x person's recent meltdown (regarding the technomanga crap) reminds me too much of stupid things I did way back when (like when I accused vgmix hacking OCR =l). Like him, I tried to validate my inadequacy as an aspiring composer. So I lashed out every which way at the slightest amount of criticism in most inappropriate ways. Even if it was over the internet, it's still pretty shitty a thing to do, especially when ppl were trying to help me get better at making VG remixes...er "reinterpretations" if you prefer. I just wish I was more mature before joining OCR. And to everyone that I may have offended or hurt, intentionally or inadvertently; OA, Darkesword, Liontamer. DJPretzel, list goes on - I am deeply sorry for my previous actions...and thank you all for allowing me to still contribute to this wonderful community, despite all the bs you had to endure 2-3 years ago. It might have been more fitting if I could go to one of those live events to say it personally, but I guess this will have to suffice. (That and I have social anxiety =p)

Yeah, I actually intended to use more source but the project file was a complete mess when it was finally sent over to Flexstyle to fix up - so one day I may return to this source and give all of the source tune it's due =p (give or take a couple years lol) Thx for the comments guys ^^

Anyhow, this track is actually a lot harder to remix than it seemed before I dug into it lol. That pad that the original composer used has a LOT more depth than all of my pads combined haha...but I tried to compensate through other means (like strings combined with pads =p) Also my piano sampo is sounding a little mouldy compared to the source tunes too ug. The transition halfway through is pretty iffy at best and is definitely gonna be on my editing radar. I'm sure there are other things to point out that I may want to change. So yeah please give it a listen and send some feedback.

Well, at least it'll help spurn the inevitable game console crash, much like the one in the 80's =D. It'll give a chance for new players in the business to jump in and fix things where they went wrong.

Idk if it's a vocal minority that's hating on D3: many people spent 15 years waiting for a sequal to diablo 2, not a WoW-ish, Auction-House cop-out DRM-fest. I still need 2 learn how to do it properly. FL Studio's way of doing side-chaining is kinda clunky iirc. But I do have a vst that does the effect for me I guess - I really need to try it lol.

Getting a college diploma *may* be enough. But another talent that anyone in the music industry needs is connection-making. Knowing how to approach potential employers and the like is half of the game right there. If you are going to do post-secondary, make sure that it covers the business side of things (any course that helps make you more employable helps too)
