Resub Draft: Old Version https://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/1081445?updated=1653968153 Judge Decision: I used a universal Reverb Space (but omitted the bass Drums and Basses from said space, as I felt they would cause too much phasing and mud). The old version had about 20 clashing spaces before which likely attributed to *most* of the mix problems...talk about a late skill to develop lol. I also changed the E/Q mix of my Damage Drums, doing my best to isolate each and every drum sample. Also E/Q'd the E-Guitars a bit and changed their level, as well as some other E/Q for various parts. Fade out is improved, and (not cited as an issue from J Panel, but took it upon myself) I humanized that 16-bit Castlevania 4 Chiptune Flute at 3:10 with some pitch bends. Hopefully the Chip-Tune samples at the ending segment aren't too exposed now lol. Pardon the edits, I had a lot to get across and a lot of it didn't come to me immediately. Damn ADD and anxiety lol. EDIT I've had APZX help me out with the mix-work, which I've re-submitted to the panel.

Remix Source: Made this for MnP119 a while back. Unfortunately I lost the current draft of this remix, with an older version that has some interesting problems. Might come back to "update" it later. But eh, I think the current work I did is good enough for now. Enjoy!

Whatever the case, it won't be free. Pretty much all Distributors charge some kinda fee...some of them monthly as I have learned the hard way. But Bandcamp ALONE is a bad idea imo. As I don't know if Bandcamp offers any IP protection. Does your friend use SongSecure or some other blockchain/encoding service? Not talking NFT's of course. At any rate your friend has to do his/her own due diligence to protect their work, foisting that all on you is kinda unfair as it costs $$$ to do so. (EDIT) Well, Bandcamp IS free, but it's equally as unsecure as YouTube, as there are workarounds to download the "walled-off" content. Literally just google "Bandcamp downloader" and at least 3 applications will show up. So make sure your friend has some way to ensure he can prove his work is his IF the worst happens*. Hope this helps.

Remix Source: Be sure to listen carefully, I did some original touches with the chromatic (harp) stuff, especially. Hopefully that's enough to push it into post-able territory. I think there is some post-rendering issues and possible f**k-ups with the operatic singer. What else is there that could be touched up upon? Y'know what's weird?? BoF2 is my favorite jrpg but I've barely done any remixes for it, asides from Deathevan, boss battle 2 and more than words. Thanks everyone. Maybe I need to render parts seperately then apply the reverb after I put in the WAV stems in the main project file. I think i screwed up on the 'Ooh'* Consonant Sample and forgot to add more Release to it. Mighta accidentally left a Reverb Master on as well. Will have to see what I did when I get my PC back. Hopefully today if all works out.

Same here. BTW, my PC is in limbo right now (but my Lappy is safe and well-protected, least to my knowledge). Trapped by a nasty trojan, so idk when I'll be able to participate next*, at least submission-wise. I'm glad I got to sneak in my entry for mnp131 though. Good luck everyone!
