So, a bunch of us have been discussing it over FB...we're going to have a meetup in Vegas from March 28th to 31st or so. The plans aren't fully fleshed out yet, but I'm making this thread for those potentially interested who haven't been in the loop. I will be in Vegas a couple of days beforehand, so I'll have some free time to hang out if anyone wants. Chime in if you're going/interested in splitting a room! I have found that that is not necessarily the case over the years - if anyone planned for transportation to the airport, it usually is if they're already intending on missing the brunch. Otherwise, people usually request rides from the brunch to the airport. This year happened to have an unusual low, but usually it is almost all those flying out who ask for rides to the airport from brunch or from hanging out after.

Is there any place like this around Arlington or Alexandria? It does have a drawback of being farther from the two most popular airports to fly out of, Reagan National and Dulles. Otherwise, I'm game with this.

That too, as it is a basic courtesy, but more importantly, the room is under my name - if something goes down, I hold the ultimate responsibility & culpability, and any issue related to that is not what I want to spend MAGFest doing. Or to put it in military lingo: "Don't be a buddyfucker"

I'm gonna try to get some exercise while at MAGFest (it will be quite a feat) - I am going to bring my P90X DVDs if anyone is interested in a workout session.

Alright, so as the one who reserved the OCR suite, I am setting some ground rules for hanging out in the suite: Each person must be vouched for by at least one member of the community The door will be unlocked ONLY when there is at least one person from the community present - otherwise you will have to contact one of those who are staying in the suite to open it up, who are Garpocalypse, DaMonz, therex, or SirChadlyOC (& tentatively me as well, but I'm not sure how liberal the hotel will be about giving out an extra key card) No illegal drugs - no exceptions Otherwise, please be considerate of the fact that some people will be sleeping in the suite & not make a mess of things. Don't do anything terrible & don't let anyone do anything terrible if you have the opportunity to prevent it. Thanks all, and let's not ruin things so we can do this in subsequent years too!

Or if you're really cheap, you can get cash back on your purchase at CVS and have it charged on your card.

Ideally, the height should be the same as the content so this isn't a problem whenever new albums get updated - this is probably best done via a piece of javascript like this

I'll add some comments on Fiorella, having been there twice now - they're great about sitting large groups without requiring a reservation, and their service was excellent both times I've been there. Their portions are also pretty large... I was a fan of them both times I've been there.
