I decided to present to you another project.. It's called kj lamb, which i started in Reason3 a while ago. It's just a temporary project of 4 songs, and there will be no more. I've started a new Reason 4 project instead, the artisthandle for that one is yet unknown ... with that said, here's my debute as kj lamb: " may I? " /Platonist direct link: http://reunion.sgxmusic.com/082%20-%20kj%20lamb%20-%20may%20I.mp3 web: http://www.reunionstudio.org Enjoy (if you can, haha )

from djpretzel's writeup: "Larry spotted what seems like an allusion to the original main theme from the NES towards the end of the arrangement, but it turns out that wasn't the ReMixer's intention, just a coincidentally similar interval." uhm, NO it WAS intentional, but since it only covers the first of the X chords in the NES theme, it doesn't qualify as a Zelda 1 remix .. if i had done more with the bassline it could've been.. but now i only borrowed the interval, it doesn't mean that i remixed the theme

OCR01685 - Final Fantasy VI "Dirt Devil"
Platonist replied to djpretzel's topic in ReMix Reviews & Comments
in some ways i do agree, im very fond of powerful fadeouts, which in this example really IS a monster .. but as many know, including myself - zircon could really set this off in a powerful last BLOW if he'd have the time im not saying that the fadeout is bad, it's awesome either way.. but he COULD .. couldn't he? -
OCR01693 - Solstice "Demnos Inquisitor"
Platonist replied to djpretzel's topic in ReMix Reviews & Comments
this is definitly awesome! i might be biased, because i hardcored this game as a child - it's right here on my shelf of fame anyway, great track and congrats to the birth of your child Matt! the only thing that made me "hmm" was the low volume levels, but as the end noise reached me i got that it was on purpose .. nice approach in the end! -
OCR01692 - Metroid "Cranial Syphon [Kay-raid]"
Platonist replied to djpretzel's topic in ReMix Reviews & Comments
this is very nice! i usually don't like metal styles. but when it comes to vgmixes it just doesn't seem to bother me at all .. which is odd.. anyway, great arrangement of a kick ass source my only problem here is that a few drum transitions are a bit out of step. but it doesn't really bother me that much a very good job -
personally im not very fond of the Breath of Fire series, which would make me biased on this remix if i was biased .. but im not! this is awesome! AnSO, you've really impressed us all with your activity. my first submission was submitted when you had your first post, since then you've just been spitting out new material, all topnotch good work and keep it up

Saturday 8 march 2008 Saturday Again! It's time for another Psyjuntan classic to be distributed through Reunion! The title is obviously a pun on Pink Floyd's ol' "the great gig in the sky". and it really does the name justice, cause psychadelic ambient of this calibre is really rare! so without further ado.. Here's: "the Great Gig in the Psyche" Direct: http://reunion.sgxmusic.com/081%20-%20Psyjuntan%20-%20The%20Great%20Gig%20In%20The%20Psyche.mp3 Web: http://www.reunionstudio.org Enjoy!

hehe well impulse tracker (dos) is a limited software, it hasn't been updated since 1998 the schism clone that i use (windows) is almost identical, the only big difference is that it supports stereosamples .. there's no VST or effects in any kind involved and it took me 2 months of hard work to finish .. well it can't appeal to everyone, as i stated before EDIT: oh and as a side note, reading the panels judgement the convo between zircon and BGC they use the word "drumloop".. just to remove possible misunderstandings i'll have to tell you that there are no "loops" involved, it's all programmed

thank you dhsu yes palpable you are definitly right. my expectations with this number was that around 50% would be able to take it. the next submission i have in the works won't be this experimental.. i've always had an odd style and people often tell me that it takes some time to get used to.. so im not surprised that some of you don't appreciate it as much as the other one. and this is also probably why i don't really bother - you see i wasn't expecting more than this. i'm very happy with the submission

Crazy English Now this is something very special! Newcomer theGarbs from the UK has been making some odd stuff through the years, but this is just "wehey!" You probably understand that i like when artists try to make stuff sound old on purpose, considdering me being in love with Impulse Tracker.. but what Adam is doing different is that he isn't using an old tool, he's using outdated Sounds instead! anyhooo .. here's theGarbs with his debute single: "Subtraction Station Six" Direct Link: http://reunion.sgxmusic.com/080%20-%20theGarbs%20-%20Subtraction%20Station%20Six.mp3 Web: http://www.reunionstudio.org Enjoy

Hysteria Deluxe So, here we go again, I prove that my hysteria never ends, or does it? Well tbh, I'm a little tired of it atm, but i decided to finish off the two last songs i've been working on, this one and one more.. after that i need to chill down a bit. The song coming after this one is not as badass. So you might say that this is my turning point. From now on i'll be going down in tempo, style and stuff like that.. anyway, here's "White-Stained Gong" have fun Direct Link: http://reunion.sgxmusic.com/079%20-%20Platonist%20-%20White-Stained%20Gong.mp3 Site: http://www.reunionstudio.org enjoy

And we're moving on with track number 78! this time from one of our newest members, Ultraljud. Stick to this' lyrics are somewhat cheesy, somewhat naughty but totally awesome. The vocoding business-award goes to ... Fredrik! I love how there's so much room and verb in his mixes... and this track is no exception! Ultraljud knows what he's doing!
